Moyes Eye Center

I've been a patient of Dr Moyes for many years. . I have multiple sclerosis and needed a neurology eye exam to see the progression of vision related to MS. I also had shingles and the rash was near my eyes. I needed an emergency exam to rule out lesions on my eye. Thankfully there were none. Currently I have cataracts. My regular doctor recommended Moyes as an excellent eye surgery referral. I agree. I have always been pleased with Moyes. It's my favorite eye care provider of all time. From the time I first walk in the building, I've been taken care of by a professional and caring team. The facility is beautiful with sitting areas that are very clean and comfortable. The exam itself is fast. However the staff answers all my questions and concerns along the way. By the time I see the eye doctor, the exam results are explained and a care plan is discussed. Dr Moyes himself is very down to earth. He makes sure that I understand everything. The whole process does take time, but it is time well spent. Compared to other eye care I've received, Moyes has a well thought out process. Add to that, I can see the high level of professionalism and expertise of the whole team They really care about each patient. I can't say enough about this practice They are a top of the line provider for routine eye care and for complications. In 6 days I will have cataract surgery. I have some fear on any surgery I need. But I have complete confidence in the ability of the doctor and team that will perform the surgery. I will follow up afterwards

My special needs friend had skin graph surgery on his lower eye lid today. I took him to all his visits and was with him today for the surgery. From his first visit Dr. Ahmad was wonderful! She's very down to earth and made him feel safe and cared for. She did a fantastic job as well as all the staff at St. Lukes South surgi-center! They were all kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make him feel welcome and safe. It was a great experience for him and myself.

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes in the last month and am very happy with the results. The staff was great! Cassie, the nurse that I dealt with was very informative and personal, Dr. Moyes did excellent work and follow up with the rest of the staff was great. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the need of anything to do with their eyes.

Have so much respect for Doctor Kam. He could have taken my money but instead focused on my actual needs. His recommendation for me not to have cataract surgery at this time also came with the reasons why. His mannerisms were exactly what a patient needs. Am also giving Aaron recognition who filled out info for the finality of the visit. Soft spoken and with kindness that was so welcome. Moyes Eye Center will be my go-to place when the time is right for my next step.

The eye doctors, technicians, and staff are excellent. They are all friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but I sense my time is not valued as a patient when I wait over an hour and twenty minutes to see the doctor. I will continue to see the doctor here and would recommend this office, but the place could run more efficiently for patients.

Had a consultation for cataracts at the Lansing , KS location on 11/14/25. Appointment was at 9:30, they got me in right away to do a few eye test. However, I then waited almost an hour and a 1/2 before I got to see Dr. Park at 11:30 only for him to spend 10 minutes with me. Confirmed I had a cataract, and said if I decide to go thru with the surgery I could talk to someone else to schedule the appointment. Was shown a video of cataract surgery prior to speaking to him and ask if I understood how it was done and what lense I would want. He did not tell me how long surgery would take, how bad my eye was, nothing. Very impersonal and felt like I was just another number. The staff was great and Dr. Park seemed nice for the little amount of time I spent with him, but I was not pleased waiting that long for a 10 minute Impersonal visit. Not sure if I will return.

I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous on the day of the procedure. The Staff did a fantastic job helping me feel comfortable during and even after the fact. I've had glasses since I was 8 years old so I'm counting this as a life changing event, in the best possible way. Dr. V is a good dude and I'm happy to have him as my Doc. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You to the Moyes Team for your excellent Customer Service, working knowledge, and dedication to your Patients.

After two cataract removals, I can confidently say that Moyes Eye Center does a fantastic job! Dr Moyes and Dr Verachtert (aka Dr V), are very knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate. They both put my mind at ease because I felt confident in their skillset and experience (as a former nurse, that makes a big difference to me!) They also took plenty of time to explain things to me and answer all my 1,000 questions. Literally ALL the staff was wonderful, from start to finish. I'm very pleased with the results and have even recommended Moyes to my family.
