Walmart Vision & Glasses

Billed $78 at the time when I'm buying my lenses and frame then got a mail A MONTH LATER that says I'm actually need to pay additional $134. Talked to my insurance and they're saying my total responsibility is $176 which still doesn't make any sense. Firstly, they billed me and my insurance differently. Second, even if I pay that extra $134, $78+134 is $212, not $176. Complete disaster.

It is DR woitasczyk working here. I wouldn't even give any stars. I told the DR over and over the prescription did not feel right. I wasn't seeing clearly and felt as if one eye was blurry then the other ( which I told the DR over and over). He insisted the prescription was correct so I bought two different contacts (apparently both eyes were different) for a 6 month supply. After struggling with the contacts and getting massive headaches I called and asked to get checked again. The DR gave me couple more lenses to try but he was only changing the brand of contacts not the prescription. I kept telling the DR I still could not see clearly and he STILL insisted he was correct and I was out of options. Complaining finally got my prescription changed (turns out both eyes ARE the same prescription) Another problem is I had the contacts I bought from the first appointment but I was told I could not get a refund on the contacts but they would exchange them. I had opened one box and the lady that was working with me told me I could not exchange that box so I complained how the prescription changed ( I didn't need two boxes since I have the same # for both eyes) whoever she talked to, she came back and told me it will be a "courtesy" this time. A COURTESY, it's the DR fault I bought incorrect contacts. After that i was given such attitude by her. My mistake I order glasses as well and am having the same issue. I don't understand why all them were getting an attitude including the DR that was telling me "I was out options" so basically deal with it. It's my vision! It has to be CORRECT!! Don't get mad when a patient is telling you they CANT SEE. Also I got the copy of the order and the girl put in remarks, " I told patient these are tight on her and informed her she get a larger frame but patient refused" this is UNTRUE. She never suggested any frames or sizes. She gave me a "annoyed" attitude the whole time and was not helpful at all. You wrote down a false statement. Shame on you. This was horrible experience and a waste of time. Update. Issue has not been resolved. I haven't received my "official" prescription paper only gave me the glasses RX (not correct) Also the glasses THEY ordered for me was ordered incorrect. THEY blamed me because my prescription was changed "too many" times. When I specially said make sure it's an update prescription. THEY ordered glasses on a wrong RX. Refused to fix it.

Absolute joke of a business! Made an appointment. They call the morning of cancel. Fine. Reschedule. The next morning of cancel and reschedule again. Go in for my 3rd attempt of an appointment and they say it's for the next day! No that's not what I was told. Way to waste weeks of my time i could have gone elsewhere and gotten my contacts by now.

I did not have a good experience with this vision center. Will NOT be a returning customer. Multiple trips were required to get the correct prescription. Icing on the cake when contacts were ordered NO ONE told me that the contacts ordered were NOT daily throw aways. I thought I was given samples to try before buying. I have NEVER had biweekly contacts before. Apparently I went thru a 6 months supply of contacts in a week because of this. I'm so angry.

Would have chose no stars had that been an option. Made the appointment for my father in law who is 75 resides in nursing and has dementia. When i made the appointment i asked 4 times if they accept his insurance even gave them all his info for said insurance. Get there to the appointment today fill all required paperwork out to then be told they dont accept his insurance. Even man with dementia asked to please not be takem back there.

So the doctor calls in and they bump my appointment another month. Made the appointment as I was displeased with the new perception I was given. Also had to return for my son after his new prescription left him still squinting. Must be a reason these doctors work at walmart.

I feel comfortable visiting this location's vision center. They perform temperature checks on all patients before entering the vision center and are very through in sanitizing everything before myself or my daughter touched it. The only downside was my card was mistakenly charged twice.

Tried calling to make an appointment. Took 4 phone calls ringing for minutes on end for you guys to finally answer only to put me on hold for 7 minutes. You finally get back to us, but say you guys are having issues with something and you'll call me back in 15 mins then hung up on me. Didn't even let me say ok, or give you my phone number and name so you can actually call me back.
