The staff here are always nice and friendly, and I've been coming to this location for a few years. Unfortunately, I've had ongoing issues with my prescriptions. The first pair of glasses I received had a prescription that was very different from what I previously had at another location. I assumed my vision had significantly changed, but my eyes never adjusted. The glasses remained blurry, and I ultimately couldn't wear them or get the issue resolved. I always get two eye exams from two different places to compare prescriptions, and the prescriptions I receive from this location are consistently way off. They're not just slightly different they're completely off to the point where it's hard to believe. I decided to give it another chance this year with a new exam, hoping for better results. Unfortunately, I experienced the same problem again. My new prescription is blurry and doesn't seem accurate at all. At this point, I no longer believe my vision changed that drastically it feels like the eye exams may not have been done properly. If you're in the area and want a reliable exam, I recommend going to America's Best and seeing Dr. Methvin. In my experience, he is fast, accurate, and consistent with prescriptions. I truly appreciate the kindness of the staff here, but accurate vision care is essential.

The front desk staff were kind, and soft spoken, and were very helpful. The doctor was enjoying and fun, he took all the hard work out of the exam. TBH I'd do a daily exam for lifetime, if I had the same doctor. I am sad I forgot his name. They dont build them like him anymore. I cannot speak for costs as I recieved a voucher from Kansas City. But in two years with my next voucher I will definitely go back. Hopefully that same doc will be there. Thank you guys for the smiles, and the smooth process.

Went in with a prescription from another location and they were so nice! I picked out frames and I was finished in minutes. Got my glasses in about 10 days. GREAT PLACE!! THANK YOU!

I had such a lovely experience last month. The inside of the office is so nice, and I was greeted by kind and polite office staff. Everyone was truly so nice. I didn't have to wait long to be called back, either. I felt heard and the doctor spent time making sure my prescription was perfect. I was having several vision issues due to an out of date prescription and the doctor made sure to hear all of my concerns and helped me find solutions that worked for me. He also is very fun and has great taste in music! Very happy to be a patient at Westport Eyecare.

I googled emergency eye services and the receptionist told me it's a medical issue and I would have to pay out of pocket although the bottom of my eyelid is swollen and vision is blurry and I said well I have insurance for vision and it's covered she then repeated herself very "matter of fact like & I said even when u can see my eye swollen she said yeah it's medical so I just walked out. I'm in pain trying to function & don't hv the energy today

Not sure what's up with the bad reviews, but my experience was great the staff are friendly. The place was very clean. The lobby is comfortable and The doctor himself is very nice/patient and make sure that I got the correct prescription. Definitely a place that I would recommend and I wish I knew about sooner The best I've care I have ever been to honestly and they had some cute options for what my insurance will cover, although I do wish they had more options that cater to millennials. No complaints here we'll be bringing my Oldest kid here

This was the best place I have ever gotten my eyes checked the doctor was very helpful and went beyond to make sure I got the right prescription! Definitely recommend this place and they have lots of glasses to choose from !

I highly recommend Westport Eye Care! Their team were very friendly! The environment is very welcoming, clean, and non judgemental! I also LOVED Dr Miles. He was so patient with me. He was willing to communicate appropriately when we were confused with each others questions or answers! He LISTENED without judgment. He was also willing to take his time with me without rushing. I honestly have never had such a great experience getting my eyes checked. I have avoided for 5 years going back to the eye doctor because my experience at "America's Best eye care" paying over 200$ was a horrible experience with them not getting my prescription RIGHT! I am definitely going to become a regular client for WestPort Eye Care because I had such a great experience! I am excited to get my glasses so that I can actually see again! Thank you so much!! I didn't realize how badly my eyes have declined until I could see thru the lens of what my glasses will be like! Not being able to see become my "normal" over the past 5 years.
