Cataract Surgery Review - McKnight Eye Centers, Liberty, MO I chose McKnight Eye Centers in Liberty, Missouri for cataract surgery with the clear understanding and signed consent that multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) would be implanted. My goal was sharp near and distance vision without reading glasses. After surgery, I learned that different lenses were used, and I now cannot read anything without glasses. My post-surgery experience has been equally troubling. At multiple follow-up visits I was kept waiting for long periods, sometimes told to return to the waiting room while the doctor was not even in the building, and I never received courtesy calls about delays. I have repeatedly asked for a clear explanation and solution, but have received only inconsistent responses and no corrective plan. If you are considering cataract surgery here or anywhere, I strongly recommend: * Get and keep all pre-operative measurement and IOL calculation documents. * Ask to see the actual lens boxes and stickers to confirm they match your consent forms. * Insist on a thorough surgical "time-out" before the procedure to confirm lens type and power. * Clarify follow-up communication policies to avoid unnecessary waiting and uncertainty. Horrible experience for a friend today. Had a procedure done on her eyelids. When she got home she had a good amount of bleeding. She went back down and the Dr. said "What do you want me to do about it". He then said "well I guess we can cut you back open and cauterize it". She left the room very angry and he literally chased her out to the waiting room wanting to "talk more". He knew he was wrong! Won't be going back.

Excellent Doctors & Staff, Impressed with all l had done thanks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, They get the job done in a good timely manner. And i live 2.5 hours a way. Ron R.
