Bennett Eyecare Midwest - Platte City

Had an eye exam with questionable results. Dr rondeau had left the building quickly l before I had even left my exam room, only telling me she'd wanted to see me back the next week. I was scared because the pressure in my eyes are very high especially for my age. Next week comes & My next appointment wasn't even on their books. No record, nothing except my appointment card with a non existing appointment, i was given as I was rushed out. When I called, they offered apologies but because of the nature of my experience and my results, I decided to share this experience with others.

Firstly, My name is Rob Kay. I broke my frames for my glasses. I called Bennett Eye Care in Platte City and they had me come in and put my lenses into new frames. I have been going to Bennett Eye Care for many years. When you go into the building it is clean, bright with a lot of glasses on display. The Staff greet you when you enter and they do all they can to help with any issues you have with your current glasses. I just had my eye exam and again the staff were friendly, and very professional. There is no pressure to buy their glasses. I would recommend Bennett Eye Care in Platte City MO. to others who want a very good experience with their eye care needs. Thank you to all the staff at Bennett Eye Care in Platte City. I've been going to BEM for several years. They have always been professional and accommodating. My most recent appointment with Dr. Rondeau was excellent. I was greeted warmly by the front desk person. I didn't wait long at all. The initial assessment by Autumn was great. She was considerate and helpful, and very personable. We had a good laugh or two while always maintaining appropriate professionalism. Dr. Rondeau was great too . She did a wonderful job with explaining what was going on with my eyes. I'm a visual learner and she used an eye prop to help me understand better. Nice touch! She is also very personable and easy to talk to. When I was leaving they offered to adjust and clean my glasses. I even walked away with a free bottle of cleaner. I know that isn't a big $ savings, but the gesture was much appreciated. All in all it was a great experience. To be honest, my experience wasn't any different than my past appointments with them. I just expect great service from them. Thank you all who played a part in my visit!

I had an awesome experience. Dr Rondeau is very considerate and nice. The gentleman that helped me with lenses worked many options so I could get the best bang for my buck using my insurance. Very helpful!

this place is a JOKE. so my original appt was reschedule BY bennett due to weather and then a week later i had to reschedule. at my first appt they gave me a week of trials for my left eye and had to order my right eye and said they'd be delivered in a week. a week later i called and they claimed they "just got the shipment in" i now was out of my left eye so requested another week and this was apparently the end of the world because at my appt a whole week later i heard the nurse talking badly about me saying she could "get in trouble for what she did for me" ??? and then in the hallway after the dr modified my prescription she was complaining that i'd already received extra trials and couldn't have more and that i was supposed to be there at my original date (that they rescheduled). the dr said something along the lines of that's not how this works and i left with more trials and they ordered my contacts and said they'd call me when they delivered. a week later i called and my contacts had delivered on the 15th and it was currently the 18th and no one had called, emailed, or anything. they said their "alerting system was down" but no one thought to reach out to me. i went to pick up my contacts and shocker they had ordered me monthly's when i ordered and paid for dailies. the one kind thing they've done is drop order the new contacts to my house and rushed them for me. these finally got delivered and they're also wrong! i've been going here since i was little and it's so frustrating that i'm experiencing this. i will never be returning which is tragic because dr fritz is great. learn from me and do not come here.

The absolute best experience I've ever had at an eye doctor. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Fritz is so friendly and helpful in explaining the plan going forward. Definitely recommend this place!

I have been going to Bennet for my last 3 annual eye exams. Staff is friendly and I have felt no pressure to purchase their glasses. I require additional paperwork for my employment and they happily complete it, might not be the same day but the Dr. has taken the time to do it.

Love Bennett eyecare, people are always so nice and friendly. I got a pair of glasses from a couple months back, and one of the people there helped me pick them out. Still loving the frames!
