Marion Eye Center

The receptionist was snooty when I asked to get appointments for my children before filling out my own paperwork. As for the Doctors services. I have glaucoma and never had a proper eye exam. I have been needing and asking if I should be wearing glasses. I have a stigmatized. Plus they wasnt using the machine for checking eye pressure. That shoots air at your eye. Testing its firmness. They do just the bare minimum. Which is subpar in my opinion. People need to see to live and work.

Had zero problems with the appointment and loved how thorough Dolly Campbell was! Our biggest frustration was when my kiddo lost her glasses and I called to reorder said glasses. Multiple calls to order, and each time the request was "lost". When I expressed frustration about the this the last time before giving up, I was promised a call back, which never happened. Eventually I got so frustrated with being ignored and ordered my child's replacement glasses off of Zenni.

Wouldn't let me make appointments over the phone because I missed 3 appointments. Not even missed consecutively, they included one I missed when I was 12 and said I can only make appointments in person. Since I had moved away they have been spamming my number to make appointments over text and have dodged my calls while they are open. I don't understand why they keep texting my number, but it's super aggravating!

My daughter is 4. She went to Marion Eye Center an they were very calm an patient with her an worked well with her. She ended up needing glasses an the staff helped her choose a frame she loved. I cant express how awesome an amazing they all are an the level of care my daughter received was beyond to notch. Thank You Marion Eye Center!

12/20/19 Update: I finally received my glasses on 12/9/19. The cut of the lens was very undesirable so I had to pick out a new pair of frames (smaller) to be sent off and have the lens re-cut. This time they came back super fast. Stacey and Dr. Campbell have been really helpful throughout all this. The problem seems to have been with the lab in the beginning. Deb from the Marion, IL office called on 12/9/19 and said I would get a refund of $50 for the inconvenience, but I haven't received anything as of yet. Ordered glasses on 11-6-19 and still have not received them. I have had to constantly call to check on them. After the first 2 weeks went by, when I had called several times, I was finally informed that my glasses broke at the lab. Therefore, the waiting process began all over again. No rush put on my glasses and no one cares. I will not be spending $500 on an eye exam and glasses there again. Nor will I be recommending Marion Eye Center to anyone.

I have always liked their staff and speedy service . Everyone is pleasant when I go for exams and fittings for my glasses. They have helped me when I needed to replace nose pieces. I cant see well without my glasses. Im thankful for the workers at the Marion Eye Center in Poplarbluff Mo.

I get my eyes checked once a year and the staff at Marion Eye Center has always been very helpful and friendly. I had a problem once with an infection in my eye and they were able to get me in immediately. I would recommend Marion Eye Center to anyone needing an exam, contacts, glasses, etc.

Fast and friendly staff. Had surgery on both eyes and now can see without glasses except to read. Love my glasses. Had to have the lens fixed and there was not one penny charged! Will continue with Marion Eye Center for all my glasses.
