If I could give them a zero I would also it is ridiculous that if your on Medicare or Medicaid they treat you like trash. I have never had a worse experience in my whole life they were so disrespectful and ignorant specially the old guy who acted like my insurance lady was wrong when she wasn't I went somewhere else and got exactly what I needed . I have noticed that people without Medicare and Medicaid are treated better and that is completely unethical it should not matter the insurance you have, they're there to do a job and help people get what they need not treat people like garbage cause they're poor or underprivileged, or just because they're in a foul mood like you work with people if you can't be kind and explaine why you can't do something instead of just saying you can't without explaining and being rude and not trying to even help you shouldn't work with the public !

If I could get this place a zero star I would. My mother went in and got glasses at Mercy about 18 months ago. She had Missouri Medicaid and Medicare. Mom died about a week after the glasses came in. I still get a bill in the mail Monthly even though she had Medicaid and Medicare. Called them multiple times and he even put return to sender on the bills and a copy of her death certificate but yet every month faithfully I get a bill for my mom. It's just heartbreaking that every time I see a bill it just reminds us all again and again that she is gone and never coming back.

I got my eyes checked and a prescription for glasses at mercy. When I got the glasses back ,made to their prescription, they didn't even come close to what I needed so I went to a different ophthalmologist. After getting an eye test from the 2nd ophthalmologist the glasses that I got was perfect.. Unfortunately the the glasses I got from the from Mercy was a waste of money.waste of money and and worthless as far as being able to use them

I walked in, asked if they took my insurance, the lady said yes, filled out paperwork, took copies of my insurance card,next appointment was 1.5 months away..1.5 months later I walk in, in now more desperate need of eyeglasses..after some talking she said "we don't take your insurance"... Thanks for making me wait 1.5 months to tell me this when I'm leaving state in just under a month, and now I have to hope I can get eyeglasses or not leave state otherwise.
