I purchased prescription glasses at Sams Club Optical back in December 2017. It was suggested that I get Digital Lens since I have terrible vertigo. Looking at the brochure it appeared that most of the lens area would be clear with little blurry on the edges. They said I would not have a much trouble with these even though I said I tried progressive lens in the past and could not do them. I have to have reading type glasses but my distance is not bad (I even went to an Ophthalmologist since and he said my distance is not bad). After getting these glasses I had to have them remade 2 times. The first I had hold my chin high to see to read. Also there was a lot of motion since if I just looked slightly to the right or left I could see blur. They remade them a second time. After receiving them they were still not right ... caused a lot of motion symptoms, they were blurry when I looked slightly right or left, in order to read I have to hold my chin up, and I could definitely not wear them all the time since they threw my perception off and I did not want to crash my car due to these glasses. I threw them on my counter and there they have sat for the last 5 months even though I have tried to make them work several times. I decided to write a review since I do not want someone else to go through what I have gone through. They do not provide a wider field of clear vision. They cost a lot of money even with the insurance I had at the time. I would have been better just going with a basic bi-focal and that is what the Ophthalmologist said in the future I should do. The cost of the bi-focal is A LOT less than this Digital lens. I just want those considering the use of Sams Club, that their digital lenses are not worth the money, especially for those with Vertigo.

I've been using Sam's Club Optical for many years, and everyone there is very friendly. In fact, I was just there this month getting new contacts and glasses!

Got glasses at Sam's club few years ago. My insurance got 2 pair glasses. Great service and glasses. I wear trifocals.

Horrible experience. Eye dr. Gave me the wrong eye precription after many trips back they finally refunded my money for the glasses but they would not refund for the bad eye exam. I will never use that optical department again

Great for prescription filling. The eye Dr. wasn't good a few years ago.

I tried to call the main phone number no answer. I tried to call the Optical Department, the voicemail box was full and disconnected me. Thanks a lot!
