Great Falls Clinic Vision Center

The purpose of my visit was for an eye exam to see if my prescription has changed. I was surprised and confused a little when the nurse asked if I would want a new glasses prescription if needed. Since that was the sole purpose for my visit, I asked, "What do you mean?" She seemed to be annoyed at our communication difficulties and began explaining the differences between ophthalmology and optometry in a terse manner that immediately made me regret the entire experience. I said I'd find some other solution and quietly left. I stopped at the desk to ask that my account be credited for the co-pay I had made but the clerk was not sure how to do that. The clerk could also use a little brush up on her manners and how to greet customers. I love Dr. McCafferty but was unable to make it through the hoops. I've waited 6 months for this appointment and it was an aggravating waste of time. I thought I was going for an eye checkup and prescription renewal, as I've done a dozen times before. I still have no idea what the nurse thought the purpose for my visit was. Update: I did receive the bill for this visit. No mention of anything else, just the bill.

I would never recommend Dr. Multerer. However, her staff is absolutely wonderful. I took my 88 year old mother for two appointments to get eye shots. This doctor is rude, arrogant, and condescending. She has absolutely zero patience, or compassion for elderly people. After the second appointment, my mother refused to go back and said she'd rather go blind than be treated disrespectfully by this doctor. We now have another doctor giving the shots and he is absolutely wonderful. Now her appointments take 30 minutes as opposed to 2 and 1/2 and 3 hours. If I could give a rating of less than one I would definitely do it.

I bring resident here all the time and my mother and great uncle came here to. The receptionist is so awesome at her job. She's always nice and very pleasant. Keep up the great work you do.
