This whole team was amazing! Great experience from the start. They answered so many questions and took the time to explain what I didn't understand. I think Dr. McCann knew that I was very nervous, he did a great job of reassuring me. I would highly recommend these folks.

My wife Sally had surgery on her eye by Dr McCann and she is completely satisfied with the procedure. We appreciate his medical expertise and also his human mannerism. Dr. MCcann is very good at what he does. He is compassionate, and very thorugh in explaining the things that one needs to know and any questions you may have. He takes the time to explain it in detail. Very kind man. I would definitely tell anyone about my experience. I highly recommend Dr.McCann!

I was having bizarre symptoms for awhile, and realized I needed an ophthalmologist badly. It turned out to be a rare but serious medical problem called a cavernous venous thrombosis. I had a thunderclap headache, followed by vision changes and severe eye pain. I saw an optometrist and didn't really get to the root of the problem. I finally got an appointment with Dr. Mcann and drove 2 hours in a snowstorm, only to be treated in a way I have never seen a doctor treat a patient. I haven't really needed to be a patient prior to this experience but never seen any of the medical professionals I worked with treat their patients the way he treated me. He never addressed any of the concerns I had. For some reason I thought he was neuro-ophthalmologist, and I was having confusion at this time. I asked him if anything could be causing confusion and vision changes, and he said no. I told him I couldn't read, as the words on the page where now moving around, walls seemed wavy, and I couldn't handle any lights now. He told me "use readers." I had written down all the symptoms I had, and he never looked at them. Just yelled at me for coming in with a "whole list of complaints." After this experience, I was so turned off by doctors that I swore off going to any until it got so much worse. I eventually got it figured out, but this experience caused such an unnecessary delay, and was much too late. This has left me with life long damage. The neurologist even told me "a good ophthalmologist would have caught this." he then paused and said "actually a bad one should have as well." You had the opportunity to help me, and I will always wonder why you chose not to. As Maya Angelou once said 'be a rainbow in someones cloud."

I truly appreciate Dr. McCann as my doctor at Rocky Mountain Eye clinic. He has a warm and sincere approach to his patients and never seems to be rushing me or in a hurry to get on with any other appointments. He takes time and it is obvious he truly cares for his patients and wants to use the time during out appointment to address any and all concerns. He answers questions patiently and has such a gentle and friendly disposition. Very grateful for Dr. McCann!

I got in right away; office staff very professional; technicians did their jobs well; Dr. McCann is great!

Dr. McCann is the best. You might have to wait to see him, but the wait is worth it. He's always smiling and ready to fix whatever the problem might be. He genuinely cares!
