I originally went in because I thought a contact had gone underneath my eyelid, cause I couldn't find it. While in there, doctor Neumeister made it sound like the woman that I saw at Walmart doesn't know her job and told me that I needed to come in to have my eyes dilated. Not a problem it's gonna cost me about 120 bucks. Not the case I go in and they did more than just dilated my eyes without telling me they fitted me for contacts and more. They did multiple things and what should've been probably about no more than $150 ended up being $390. I paid my bill in full there because what are you gonna do? Just to see that, they have issued me an invoice saying that I owe them $40 for a contact fitting when it's already been paid. I feel like I was led on and then over excessively charged for something that I didn't agree to. there was no prior we're gonna fit you for contacts nothing I was just there to have my eyes dilated. I called three other eye clinics around town and they ranged from $125-$140 just to have your eyes dilated.

I saw Dr. Rick Neumeister to consult with him about cataract removal surgery. From the start I was impressed with how well his office was set up to afford good protection for his patients with regard to COVID exposures. His technician who performed some assessment test was cordial yet efficient. She carefully explained what each test procedure was. I got to see Dr. Neumeister in a timely fashion. He was able to anticipate most of my questions ahead of my asking them. He carefully described the options available to me. The time together was not rushed; we had time to visit a bit about non-medical topics such that I didn't feel like he was trying to squeeze me through the appointment as quickly as possible. He instilled a sense of confidence in me that I will take into the upcoming surgery.

This was my first visit to this clinic and I was impressed. Everything was so organized and comfortable. I had all the tests I thought I should have and the doctor was very kind. I travel quite a distance to see the doctor but I will be coming back every year. Excellent care!

Professional and courteous staff, and Dr. Neumeister struck me as a friendly, very pleasant, relaxed and even humble, fellow. (Code, maybe, for any ego I did not inadvertantly bump into, such has been my experience at a competing practice.) Appointment was prompt and efficient despite there being a number of patients in occupancy. Very short idle times is greatly appreciated. If I had to complain, I would suggest a fresh newspaper that has not accompanied anyone to the restroom, if you know what I mean. Otherwise a memorable visit for all its positive points :)
