Rocky Mountain Lasik Center

I honestly don't know what to think. I went in for my examination, the receptionist was nice, the doctor really nice but the eye tech or whatever he was that actually ordered the frame and such couldn't seem to stand me there and even asked me to pay the copay when i picked them up so he could finish the paperwork after I was gone and he was very...agitated i guess. When I picked up my glasses the lady who fitted them was abrupt and when i told her the glasses didn't work she seemed flustered and told me to take them home and try them. I came back for a recheck again and the fixed prescription... the doctor was nice even though the tech had altered her original orders.

My husband and I went to Rocky MT Eye Center in March 2015, his glasses have never fit right, and he has gone in several times. He won't go back. My experience with them has been just terrible. First of all when my glasses arrived the first time the lenses were all wrong, so they sent them back to get new lenses. then they billed the wrong ins. company, so out of pocket we paid a lot. When I questioned it, after talking to 4 different people over several days, the supervisor just sent me the paper work and I billed my ins. company and ended up getting $485.00 back from my ins company. They were rude and unhelpful. When I finally got my glasses they just handed me them and sent me on my way, no fitting, no are they ok, just here they are, good bye. So in May the arm fell off my glasses while cleaning them, I had to go back in and have them fixed, time off work. Today was the last straw, the nose piece fell off, so I took off work and went over there, the girl at the front desk said it would be $5.00 to fix, when I told her I bought my glasses there she said it did not matter. So I drove over to Shopko and asked the girl there if they fixed nose pieces and she said yes. I asked her how much, she said it was free. When I told her I did not buy my glasses there, she said it did not matter. My glasses were fixed in 5 minutes and did not cost a thing. I will never go back to Rocky Mt. Eye Center and will go out of my way to let people know how they treat people.

I had a procedure called evisceration done by Dr. Peterson this week. I have been dreading and stressing getting this done. Dr. Peterson and staff were amazing. They took the time to explain to me more than once to me about my procedure before and after the procedure. Post surgery my wife was ill seeing me get a shot in the eye and being instructed on post operation care. Dr Peterson and Regina acquired my wife a 7 up, Ice packs and escorted her to lay down in another appointment room till her color looked better and was looking capable of driving me home. I'd say that is five star service in anyone's book. My apologies to those of you that may have had an undo longer waiting time do this establishments practice of going above and beyond to take care of their patients.

I was lied to and treated terribly! Went in for a routine eye exam -- when I asked about my eye twitching at the end of the exam the doctor told me he could inject it for about $50 and solve the twitch. My bill came for $487 --- they would not honor what the doctor and tech told me. They were extremely rude and uncaring. I will never go there again and advise anyone to beware of unethical billing practice!

Fantastic experience. Very caring staff and they did whatever they could to make sure I was comfortable and had a positive experience. Communication and expectations were clear. Dr. Nedrud went the extra mile to make sure that my prescription for the surgery was completely dialed in. Recovery from PRK has been easier than expected as well. Can't say enough good things about the overall experience.

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Had an emergency eye issue that my regular eye doctor couldn't work with and he suggested this place instead. I had a very good experience with the optometrist here as well as the reception staff since they fit me in immediately to get the problem looked at and solved. I also had a friend who had Lasik done here and he praised the staff, nurses, and surgeons as well.

I am very impressed by the clinic and surgery center's seamless coordination with each other. Its wonderful how effortless it is to be able to get all of the appointments & procedures into one easy streamlined process. Plus, I am incredibly grateful for their skill & care - I can See again! Thank you

The care I received from Dr. Nedrud and his team was exceptional. My vision hasn't been this good in years. After the initial correction with LASIK, I wanted an enhancement to sharpen my distance vision and it was a breeze. We traveled to Aruba for vacation shortly afterward and I could see for miles. Thank you! I wish I had gotten LASIK years ago.
