Lind Eyecare

Went to Lind Eye Care for emergency testing as the ER doctors recommended. Since I wasn't a current patient, they were too busy to see me. Said they could see me in a few months. Went to another eye doctor a few blocks away 15 minutes later and was immediately rushed in for care and treated with respect and concern. Wouldn't recommend this place. The receptionist was less than pleasant and dismissive. Clearly they don't care about you unless you are a current patient! Not visiting this place again!

My eye doctor would get 5 stars but the glasses shop gets 2 stars. I drove from Elm Creek to look at frames and they would not allow me to enter the area to look until the lunch staff returned (I was there @1:00). Hours on the door are 9-5. Ridiculous.

My family has been going to Lind Eye Care for several years. They have always provided excellent care and treatment of us. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing eye care.

Welcome to total dissatisfied. Call in December for Eye exam was told nothing till February or March. The appointment was setup, 2 days before Lind Eyecare calls and canceled the appointment do to a emergency. Reschedule was pushed out 3 months so now it's the end of June. After receiving 3 text to confirm the appointment that week I arrived 10 minutes early as requested. I am told there is a 30 minute wait for appointment, at that point I am taking time of work of work to fix in there schedule, which in my busy season. Or i can Reschedule for some time in September!!! There way more Eyecare Services that care about the customer. So needless to say everyone I talk to will tell about service. Your just another number an another dollar in there business. Which how your treated there at Lind Eyecare. If it was possible I would given them only a half of star on there Google Rating. Total disappointment after 40 years of seeing the same Doctor. I more the sure the front office won't let the Doctor's know what transpired.

Lind EyeCare is a great stop if you need eye care attention. Dr's. Lind and Turk will exceed your expectations. Great people to work with and be assured, they will go that extra mile to see you are satisfied.

I was feeling a lot of pressure from the technicians to have cataract surgery and was having issues with sight in my left eye. It was very difficult to get everyone involved in the pre-surgery prep to stop and take a look at the loss of vision my left eye. It was alarming for me, but finally at my final "check " before the surgery, the technician listened to me about my left eye vision problem and thankfully I was diagnosed with a retina disorder in that eye and the cataract surgery was canceled and I was referred to a retina specialist. Another issue I was really upset about was the doctor at Lind prescribed Lumigan for my glaucoma rather than the generic Latanprost medication that was one tenth the cost of Lumigan. My overall experience just left me with a feeling that concern for the patient wasn't what was behind some of the decisions regarding my care. I have a new eye care and very pleased with it.

After having a detached retina in early 2022, I was in need of Cataract surgery several months later. I knew I would be very selective in my search for a qualified Ophthalmologist to perform my surgery. Being in the Medical field myself for the past 25 years, I knew the ins-n-outs of finding the best doctor for me, and know all doctors are not equal in their skills. After carefully researching eye professionals in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, I found my best choice would be Dr. Diane Lind in Kearney, NE. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was placed on her wait list for an appointment. Knowing she was probably in high demand; I chose to wait. After a week I was accepted as her patient. From the moment I walked in I knew I had made the right decision, the staff was amazing! The day of my surgery went exceptionally well, and it almost felt like I was in a resort/spa with all the attentive care I received. Dr. Lind was very compassionate, and knowledgeable, and my surgery went great. Now I know why she has so many great reviews. I will be recommending her to many of my friends.
