I had an excellent experience at Shepherd Eye Center. I came in with some very concerning symptoms and was naturally quite worried about my vision. The entire team was amazing. They were professional, caring, thorough, and performed a detailed exam that really put my mind at ease.
They took the time to explain exactly what was happening (PVD) and laid out a clear plan for the healing process. Their expertise completely eased my anxiety and made me feel like I was in the best possible hands.
I'm very grateful for their compassionate care; they've made lifetime customers out of us. My family and I will be going to Shepherd Eye Center for all our future eye concerns and eyewear needs. I highly recommend them to anyone needing specialized care!

This appointment went smoothly n was in n out in under 1 hour. Each station was completed quickly n professional. Waiting time between stations was surprisingly minimal. In 15 yrs being a Shepherd patient this was probably the quickest in n out.

I take my elderly father to all his VA appointments but had a referral to see this office for a specialty eye doctor. The wait to see the doctor was several months out. We finally got In this week. It's a large office that has several providers as well as an eye glass section so it's not surprising they are a busy location. I spend a lot of time taking both my husbands dad and my dad to many doctor's appointments a month so I'm used to waiting up to an hour to see the doctor. However this particular visit we got there at 9 for a 9:30 appointment but the total amount of time we were there with medication paperwork updates and the diagnostic testing prior to seeing the doctor was a 2.5 hour visit. The staff and doctor were pleasant so that wasn't an issue. We probably saw the doctor for less than 5 min where she told us his glaucoma was stable and eye pressure good. Recommended some otc eyedrops and we were one our way. My dad uses a walker and is 88 and it was really difficult for him to be at such a long appointment. So while this facility was adequate and the staff was nice enough, I won't be bringing him back for "routine" checkups at this location.

My visit was very smooth and comprehensive. My Doctor was very informative, filling me in on everything that my eyes are going through and current changes. The technicians were great as well and all staff members were great. It was my first time there and it was a wonderful experience.

Friendly staff. Expect to spend 2 to 3 hours waiting and having tests run before seeing a doctor. Appointments needed. What takes so long is a tech calls your name for one test, then you wait for another tech to perform another test. Depending on how many tests are performed, you wait each time. Doctors are freindly and I love Dr. Peterson. He's caring, explains everything in detail and knowledgeable. He has been right about every diagnosis.

Great experience with technians and Dr. Peterson. I'm not happy how we were treated st check out. We were invisible to them, not called us after they finished the last customer. There were a lot of conversation and laughter went on with that made me stood up after waiting for 15 minutes. I approached the desk and they couldn't find my chart which was brought to them by one of the assistant. Thanks to Yajira, she took over and finally got us checked out.
