The administration here is incompetent. Twice rescheduled with Dr. Chapman, once they actually called to tell us, the other time we drove 45 minutes to find out he had left for the day (NYE). For one exam, we were told we did not need a second driver as no dialation was necessary; only to be told differently on arrival, followed by another round of incompetent scheduling -- lmk if you'd like details. Upshot: if they can't get basics right, don't trust the other stuff. Avoid avoid avoid.

There was a car accident on my way to there apt which caused me to be 15 min late. They have a 10 min grace period. (I understand) I asked if they could make an exception. The receptionist said I don't want you to anticipate the answer to change. She went out back laughed with who she was speaking to and then came back and said they could not do anything. I understand not being able to do it but her saying that the answer won't change then hearing them laugh bothered me to the point I didn't want to even reschedule.

I would not recommend this practice. They are frequently late and they failed to sent my eyeglass prescription after they told me 6 times they would send it. I lost my glasses and called from a vision center to have them fax my prescription. I was told they would. When it didn't arrive I called again. Still not sent. After the weekend I called the vision center and still no fax. I called concord eye center again and they yet again promised to send it and they didn't. I called again to say I'm coming to get it but they assured me they would have it there by 12:20. By 1:00 nothing. I need my glasses and these people are so incompetent they can't help me while I'm trying to order a new pair. I'm going to find a new eye doctor.

Terrible job they simply couldn't remove a stye. Removed about half of it and lied and said it was fully ready for recovery. Way overpriced. Don't go there they suck.

My mom had an appointment today here @1:15. for a quick consultation...I am her ride here sitting in the car waiting...it is now 3:15. I call on my cell phone wondering if everything is ok to find out that she has not even been seen yet! 2+ HOURS! They told me they were sorry and that they are slightly behind...SLIGHTLY?!! This is so unacceptable!!!! Someone should have called to give their patients a heads up for the 2+ hour delay. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!' I'm sorry...just wrong! RIDICULOUS!! I am beyond disgusted! I would give 0 stars if I could at this point!

I was scheduled for an A Scan at 11:20 and after that I was taken to another waiting room and told my appointment with the doctor was at 12:45. That was the first I was told of the large gap between appointments. This is unacceptable. Being assured they will take me as soon as they can was not reassuring. This practice has been totally disorganized since the two practices merged.

I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews before going here. This doctor is NOT a pediatric doctor - or at least she should not be qualified to be one. We had a terrible experience and I really do not want anyone else to have this experience with their child! So I encourage you to go somewhere else. The doctor walked in, barely said hi to my child, and then began opening his eyes and touching his face immediately - without even trying to be kind/silly/at least somewhat distracting to a 17 month old child who definitely doesn't want a stranger poking at his face. He began screaming and crying. He was extremely uncomfortable (understandably so as some random stranger was poking at him in the dark and not saying anything or attempting to distract him) and the doctor just told me to hold him down. It honestly felt traumatizing. I knew that my child was going to be nervous with this experience, but I at LEAST expected a PEDIATRIC doctor to come in and be silly or attempt to be a little distracting. Terrible. I do not recommend this place, especially if you have a young child. I gave it one star because I had to, otherwise I would give it zero stars.

As a patient with Anexfeld-Riegars Syndrome & Glaucoma I feel very neglected and as if the Dr's have no idea what they are doing. Ever since my original Dr retired from Pillsbury st I have been moved to the pleasant st location and it is anything but pleasant. They are so unorganized. My last appt was almost 6 months ago and they wanted to follow up to make sure I do not need surgery, they canceled that follow up without any communication and I wasn't informed until I drove the 45min for my appt to be told to go home. An appt I had made 4 months in advanced at that. Anytime I try to call they never answer and say to leave a message but can't because their mailbox is full. I've also had 4 different Dr's in less than 2 years I never know who I'm going to see and they always seem unsure in what they are telling me. I take my eye health very seriously as did my last Dr who retired but whoever is running the place now obviously could care less about my health and well-being. I still have no idea if I need surgery or not. If anybody reading this has any serious eye problem I recommend not coming to this office. I think this next appt will be my last. I'd much rather drive down to Boston where I know they will not waste my time and wont potentially put my health at risk
