Best prices, staff and selection for eyewear in the Keene area! The staff is very skilled and knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about their customers! Twice, I tried to get glasses for my mom at other places and each time something was wrong with them. The staff at Darien quickly discerned the problem and prepared a new pair of glasses for my mom for an extremely reasonable price!

I went to Darien for contact lenses. They were very rushed and seemed to be understaffed. They gave me an exam (for glasses) when I had asked for a contact lenses exam. Clearly they were not used to this request as the woman (owner) didn't ask me any questions and proceeded to give me an exam without asking to take my Lenses out. Only after I informed her that my lenses were still in did she ask me to take them out. I had to go back on 3 separate occasions to finally get the right lenses (contacts) as they don't do in house exams only tele-exams. I did end up getting the right prescription for my lenses but after asking to have my existing glasses ground to the "right" prescription I've had nothing but trouble with the glasses (which they never gave me an exam for after they gave me back my prescription glasses) there are better options out there. Not recommended.

The eye exam I recently received was beyond my expectations. The appointment was not rushed. Denise was thorough and meticulous in the testing portion of the exam. Based on those tests, the on-screen doctor told me information about an eye condition I have that was not shared with me at previous exams with my OD. I left feeling confident that I received great eye care and look forward to going back for my next annual exam. Our family has purchased our eyewear from Darien Eyewear since the eary 2000's. Their prices are very reasonable, and their customer service is friendly and helpful. I am so glad this is now a one-stop resource for our family!
