Fields of Vision Eye Care

I adore Dr. Fields and the staff. However, I recently got new medical insurance, I was NEVER told upon check in that Dr. Fields doesn't accept Aetna, I was informed of this by him AFTER my exam, in May, but he said they'll put it through and let's see what happens. I then went ahead and spent over $1400 on glasses and lenses only to receive a $215 bill for my eye exam in the mail this week. They shouldn't have charged me for the exam, that was a really lousy thing to do, they should've eaten the cost for NOT INFORMING ME. If I was informed ahead of time that he didn't accept my insurance I would've went elsewhere.

I had a great experience dealing with the Doctor, and staff. He makes you feel very comfortable, and even wanted some of my business cards as a handy man around the area!

I normally do not leave anyone a bad review. The doctors there are great. The front office people could use a refresher course in what insurance companies cover what. I was told my insurance company covered my frames and lenses. Well no not there. They are not on the list. I was there the 11th of January this year. Was promised a certain amount after I received a denial letter from my insurance. So I am left holding the bag for nearly 300 dollars. Had I have known this from the start, I would have just took my prescription and ordered them elsewhere... When I make a mistake I have to acknowledge it. Not give false information and hope it goes away. Which is exactly what happened. I won't go back for this reason alone. Also when I made a monetary mistake, I had to cover it. This will not be the only place I review this money grabbing totally dishonest company.

Good Doctor, pleasant staff, beautiful eye glasses!

This place is amazing! The doctor (Dr. Chris Fields) was incredibly kind, caring, and determined to help us! He went the extra mile at every turn! Also they offer something most places do not. Instead of eye dilation, which is never fun. They offer something different which gives the same results as dilation, pictures are taken. It's very easy. It's also very cheap! The pictures may not be covered by insurance but they make it very affordable! All the staff was awesome! The receptionist was kind and helpful. I can say with 100% certainty this is where my daughter and I will continue to go and I will always refer them to anyone who asks. They also seem to take many types of insurance whereas most types of these doctors offices do not. We personally did not get our glasses there, our insurances covered every part of the exam but not the glasses there. Which was fine because they never pushed it on us and they even went out of their way to give us a couple names of offices that do except our insurance for glasses. Absolutely 5 stars for everything and everyone!

I went here for my first time today and was completely blown away! Hands down the best eye care office I've ever been to. The office itself is warm and inviting. The staff from the receptionists to the doctors are just top notch. They are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to the point where I had no questions I needed to ask. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them.

I just wanted to say how thrilled I am with the service that I've received from Fields of Vision since my first visit. I was completely new to glasses and every single person in the practice was beyond helpful and accommodating. I believe the office saw me 3 times for a lens adjustment and the Dr. helped me figure out exactly what the issue was without me even knowing how to explain it properly! Finally, my prescription is prefect! I really can't thank you all enough and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome of working with you. I will absolutely recommend you to anyone and look forward to being a patient of yours for life!

Fields of Vision is our regular eye-care provider and I highly recommend them. The service is outstanding and Dr. Fields is super-friendly, very helpful and understanding, and he is always attentive to our needs. Plus, he is extremely knowledgeable about what's going on in the field (no pun intended). We have had a few eye care situations and without fail they squeeze us into their busy schedule. He also has a first rate staff and Melissa never fails to make us feel welcome.
