They are all so good with kids, especially Dr. Wong! My daughter feels so comfortable and loves coming for her visits
Great experience! I didn't have to wait long for the doctor. She was very kind, great bedside manner. She was very thorough. I wouldn't go anywhere else to give me eye health care.
I've been away from the office for a few years and I'm glad to be back to the beautiful new facility. My optical tech,Kerri M, was really helpful. She made me feel comfortable and at ease as we reviewed my medical records. After I saw the doctor, I then had to schedule a procedure and Kerri was once again helpful in finding a date for the procedure that was within the suggested timelines!
Thank you for a wonderful visit!
This practice is the best in the area. I've been wearing glasses since I was 2-1/2 years old, so I've been to many different eye doctors over the years (I have lived in various states from NY to ME to CT to NH). I have seen three of the doctors ... an MD, OD and a retina specialist. All have been very friendly and knowledgeable as well as attentive to my needs and concerns ... definitely topnotch. Additionally, you can purchase your glasses there and they have a wide variety of frames from which to choose. I can recommend this practice very highly.
I can't say enough good things about New Hampshire Eye Associates. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. They took the time to explain everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and truly went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most. I'm extremely grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional eye care.
Overall my experience was good. A couple of things that need attention. First I was surprised when my exam was over that I was charged $75 for a contact lens portion of the exam. I think it's excessive, as I had one done several months before in Florida and it was much less surcharge, but also, I was surprised. When someone books an eye exam the communication needs to be are you also getting a contact lens exam and please know it will cost you x. That was not covered and I had to pay that out of pocket. Okay the next thing is there is complete disconnect between the optometry department and also the contact lens area in terms of what my benefits would cover. Again I was extremely surprised that when I got there there wasn't more of a pre-perhaps intake that asked about exactly are you going to want glasses, if so here's your benefit and we will let the optometrist know. Same thing with the contact lenses, I was told to talk to Joanne who nobody took me to after my contacts and I got my samples. Third I'm disappointed that the contact lens area would not take the $100 added benefit I have that would go toward the purchase. I'm kind of in disbelief that both the optometry department and the contact lens area seem to take no insurance benefit. I don't understand how such an establishment cannot work with various different insurances to help cover those costs. Somebody needs to look at the 30,000 ft view of how things are run and make sure there's more of a cohesive experience for a patient. Also, I have never liked discussing benefits in the open and insurance in the open no matter what I've had in my life and it just doesn't seem like there's a lot of privacy there so okay I hope this is taken in the spirit of being helpful. There was also a slight payment hiccup but compared to these things that ended up being minor in terms of my concerns. Finally I will say The staff are very nice and I did like these things. I liked that there's state-of-the-art equipment where I did not have to have the puff in my eye. I also like that when my eyes were dilated I was able to stay in the chair which makes so much sense, as compared to other practices, that I've gone to, that make you get up sit in the waiting area than they bring you back in. That is a bad experience. This was a great experience. I also like Dr Demery.
My son is 14 months old, so I was a bit nervous of what to expect prior to going in. I was blown away at how phenomenal the entire experience was! There were smiling faces & people showing genuine kindness from the moment we checked in all the way until we checked out. The team of women who took care of him were MAGICAL, and I actually joked with my husband that they were like medical Disney Princesses. They were kind, soft spoken, very clearly had a talent in caring for children, and I really loved that they didn't rush my son. They had lights and music on their medical instruments making him curious instead of intimidated, and they encouraged him to touch things instead of asking me to hold his arms down. I would recommend ALL parents with small children to go here. I wish ALL pediatric professionals were just like the team at this office!! My son isn't even treated that well at his pediatricians office. 11/10. Keep being amazing, this mama appreciates that visit more than you could ever know.
I called today to make an appointment for my child and let me tell you, i sure will not be bringing him here! I was met with nothing but rudeness by the lady Michelle that answered the phone. She was huffing and puffing like i was bothering her. I also mentioned i would like to make appointments for my other two kids and she told me not now. Then after scheduling my sons appointment, 3 months out was the soonest they had available. I said i may call around to see if i can get him in sooner elsewhere due to his needs. I said i will still keep my appointment and will make sure to cancel if i find somewhere else sooner. She then barked at me saying i cannot hold appointments, i stated i will keep my appointment as we just scheduled and will cancel if need be. She then said we charge $50 to cancel appointments. I said no you do not, that is if its a no show or less than 24 hours advance cancelation. I stated i read the policy already online. She then starts bickering with me back and forth after i told her i do not like her tone and would like to speak with her manager. She continued to yell at me, then abruptly transferring me to someone's voicemail. I am disgusted by the level of customer service, and i will not be attending my son's appointment. I will find a more friendly eye doctor, one who respects patients!
