What a wonderful experience!!!!! I know so many people who have gone here, raved about a positive experience, and have such unique, beautiful glasses. I have an awful time choosing glasses and am usually disappointed with my choice...well, not this time! I had such a fun time with the staff who were all pitching in and helping me. The frame choices are stunning. I love my new glasses including sunglasses. This is clearly my go to store for glasses...

The customer service in this store was top notch! I was shopping for new glasses but didn't know exactly what color or style I wanted. My husband and I were being really indecisive. There was a young woman working in the shop who quietly started contributing eye glasses to our queue and weighing in. She helped us come to a decision and feel really confident in it. I think we just needed one more perspective! Ultimately we spent half the time there that I thought we would and both left really happy. That was huge for me. Highly recommend!

Long story short, terrible customer service coupled with a problem with my prescription that they failed to put any effort towards to remedy. I am getting a refund and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel that I have no choice in this matter. I feel that adding some details to this is warranted, I still can't get over the experience. I knew immediately when I tried the glasses on that there was a problem, I actually said "there's a problem with these". Sarah immediately states that I just need more time in the glasses for my eyes to adjust. I have worn progressive lenses for years and actually have a bit of prism in one lens due to some double vision, I needed corrective eye surgery about a year ago, I know when there something off with my eyes. I decided to take the glasses home with me and I wore them for the remainder of the day, needless to say my vision didn't improve. I took them off at bedtime and decided I needed to call the shop when I realized I couldn't read anything as it was a total blur, I also realized they never asked me to read anything in the store to check my reading vision. When I called the following day Sara was argumentative, tried to blame me for not following her advice to put them on first thing in the morning and wear them all day. Even mentioned that I'd been seen by several eye doctors hinting that I'm not being consistent with my eye care, I needed surgery to correct debilitating double vision, so yeah, I saw a few doctors.... I blew up over the phone at her when I couldn't take it anymore, never once did she try to take any ownership of there being an actual problem but we ended the conversation with the plan for them to send the glasses back, I dropped them off the following day. Sara was there when I dropped them off, rather curt with and borderline rude. It was later that day when I decided to just get a refund. It was when I spoke to Patty the owner that I decided to leave this review. She needed to get my credit card number for the refund and never once asked what happened or offered anything to try to make it right (besides refunding the money of course), a simple "I'm really sorry you had a poor experience" would have gone a long way with me, I'm really not an unreasonable person and it takes a lot for me to loose my cool. I figure she just took Sara's word that I'm a lunatic because I blew up at her over the phone. I know this is long and rambling but I also know Patty reads these reviews and I hope that both she and Sara take this to heart. Listen to your customers in the future. They likely know their eyes a whole lot better than you do.

Eyelook Optical is my favorite shop to purchase glasses, by far. I have been getting my glasses here for about 15 years now. I routinely make the trip up from Boston because I find they have a more curated and better selection than any store I can find in Boston. They carry some of my favorite brands like Etnia Barcelona, Alain Mikli, and Oliver Peoples. At this point I only buy glasses and sunglasses at Eyelook Optical because they are fantastic at picking out frames that fit my face and my ever-changing style. The last time I was in I purchased the first pair Sarah picked out for me. I gave her a one sentence explanation of what I wanted and she found the perfect pair that I have been wearing now for 3 years. I never write reviews but I obviously feel very passionate about how much I love this store. I was really just online to see what time they open ;) headed there now for a fresh new look.

The very bast selection and service period. Worked with three different staff members on Saturday. They cleaned and adjusted my current glasses and helped me pick out a new pair. I am so pleased with the service and absolutely love my new glasses. Thank you All !!

Fantastic family-owned, local business. The staff was eager to help and made me feel super comfortable. All around great experience and great selection. I would recommend anyone looking for eyeglasses or sunglasses to go see the ladies at Eye Look Optical. You won't be disappointed!
