The vision employees/ technicians are great! I walked in there on a random Wednesday afternoon looking to buy some contacts. My usual go to is MYEYEDR but they are awful in Portsmouth. Specifically April went above and beyond to give me the best customer service and help one could offer. She really is a gem! I felt bad that she had to jump through hoops with the insurance companies to see how much I have to use towards my contacts lens. She even threw in a trial pair for me since my contacts were going on 2 months in length. This is the type of service one should strive for when helping customers and patients bravo! Thank you April and staff.

I've used Walmart Vision Center at the Portsmouth NH location for, well I think I'm part of an original group of patients. The Drs Turner both are great and are extremely careful. I was diagnosed as a diabetic thanks to their care my vision has improved. I wear a contact 12 hrs a day comfortably and have never had trouble. I see far out of my right eye and close with my left eye it's better than bifocals! Thank you to Dr Janine & Dr Chris Turner as well as the staff past and present who are the reason I keep returning!

We had a great experience with Dolly Scott, Optician. She went out of her way to help us reorder our son's prescription glasses and get them sent away to Florida where he is in college. My daughter dropped my glasses so I need one as soon as I can. A popular optometrist in town is fully booked and the first available time spot is two weeks away. Therefore I decided to give Walmart a try, which has an opening on the next day.
The exam room in the vision center of the Walmart on Lafayette Road is clean and well maintained, and they have all necessary equipment ready. Dr. Turner is very professional and friendly. She feels like an experienced optometrist who can zoom in to the correct prescription during the exam without unnecessary trials. The experience was surprisingly good.

Despite my reluctance to have any medical interaction in a store, I was impressed by the quality and professionalism of the eye exam. Eye Doc was very thorough and explained everything very clearly. They also had some nice new exam machines. The store staff measured me for my glasses and did all the paperwork for the insurance. Glasses were ready within a week. Job done.
