Had an amazing experience at my eye doctor. It was my first time doing a virtual appointment, but Andy was absolutely amazing! She made me comfortable and talked me through the whole process. Highly recommend seeing her when you go there! Christine also helped with my checkout process which was quick and easy!

The Salem office is by far the best. I have been with MyEyeDr for years and this being my first visit in Salem i am absolutely blown away. My eye exam was the most thorough I have ever experienced. My optometrist was incredibly helpful and friendly. She gave me real world advice so I could make the best informed decision. I will be coming here for all my future eye appointments!

I was dealing with eye irritation for months, finally got bad enough I went to the ER and was told "allergies". Bounced around a couple weeks trying to find an eye dr who could take me before Christmas. Discovered MyEyeDr, made an appointment within the next 2 weeks. My visit was fairly quick, waiting in the lobby was a bit overwhelming with multiple patents talking over each other and I could barely hear the lovely receptionist. After some general tests and meeting with the Dr, had a diagnosis and prescription the same day. Not only that but 3 weeks later for my check up I was cured! Will be going here moving forward for any appointments, staff was very kind and helpful.

My eye exam was far more thorough and informative than others I have received in the past from other vendors. The staff from the front desk to the exam room are all friendly, professional and helpful. In particular, Stacy and Rachel helped me navigate some bumps with the ordering of my glasses. They remained positive and polite through the entire experience.

First time I've been to an eye doctor and I'm 69 years old. Thought I had a particle in my eye and set me right up with an appointment. Dr Christian checked my eyes for any foreign objects. He was fantastic. I decided to get an eye exam and get some glasses too fantastic staff highly recommend these folks

I am having an extremely frustrating experience trying to obtain my own medical imaging records from MyEyeDr. I specifically requested the raw OCT scan data (such as the original / raw scan file in DICOM file format) from a prior visit so my ophthalmologist could properly review the cross-sectional scan data and compare it with newer imaging. Instead, I was repeatedly told that only a flattened PDF could be provided, which is not clinically usable and cannot support proper continuity of care. Baseline OCT scans are essential in eye health for detecting progression, subtle changes, and early disease. A PDF is not clinically equivalent to the original scan data and cannot be meaningfully compared to future imaging. By refusing or failing to provide the actual OCT data, MyEyeDr is effectively withholding baseline medical information that I fully paid for, limiting my ophthalmologist's ability to make informed clinical decisions. What finally made it clear this was not an isolated office issue is that MyEyeDr's own corporate medical records website still defaults to records being sent via fax. The fact that a nationwide ophthalmology provider's official records process is built around fax tells you everything you need to know about how medical imaging is handled at a systemic level. Eye care depends on high-resolution imaging and longitudinal comparison, and outdated records infrastructure makes proper continuity of care impossible. This is not just inconvenient -- it directly impacts patient safety and clinical outcomes. Throughout this process, it was clear that staff handling medical records were unfamiliar with basic ophthalmic imaging and records standards. At one point, OCT images were even going to be faxed, which is completely inappropriate for diagnostic imaging and highlights how outdated the records process is. Other ophthalmology practices were able to provide this same type of data within 24 hours, because my request was handled by trained medical records personnel. In contrast, my request with myeyedoctor has to be "escalated" just to see if it could be fulfilled, despite all required release forms being signed and my willingness to pick up the files on a CD or flash drive. This experience caused unnecessary stress and delays in my medical care. Patients should not have to fight this hard to access their own clinically usable diagnostic data -- especially when that data is essential for lifelong eye health. Update: I already contacted Patient Relations as suggested by the owner's response. I was told that my request was escalated internally and included involvement of their IT department. Even after escalation, MyEyeDr was unable to provide my original OCT scan data in a form another ophthalmologist could review for cross-sectional analysis. I was asked to be "understanding" of the organization's stated limitations rather than being provided access to the original diagnostic imaging. This was a simple request that other ophthalmology practices routinely fulfill. For a national eye-care organization to be incapable of this exposes a serious deficiency: the absence of trained medical records personnel capable of releasing diagnostic imaging properly. The process repeatedly defaulted to outdated handling incompatible with modern eye care. OCT scans are baseline medical data essential for ongoing eye health. A nationwide practice that cannot produce them even after escalation has a systemic medical records failure, not a one-off issue.

If I could give ZERO if would!! I booked an appointment on Tuesday for Friday, the woman on the phone let me know that a nurse woild do the exam then I woild have to see a doctor on a computer screen, no big deal right? Two days later she called back to make sure she told me the doctor would be "virtual" i let het know she had.. come Friday I had to schedule work late so I lost two hours right off the bat, I show up, nowhere to park, again no big deal, finally find a spot and get in, I check in she hands me some papers to fill out and I go sit down, she then comes over and says to me "so because your appointment is "virtual" you have a 45 dollar copay, MIND YOU I HAVE MEDICADE, I right sway am SHOCKED. She proceeds to try and tell me she told me on the phone, WHICH SHE ABSOLUTELY DID NOT, if she had I never would have booked and lost three hours of pay!! NOT MY PROBLEM THAT THE DOCTOR DONT WANT TO COME INTO THE OFFICE!

Showed up today for an appointment for an eye exam at 11:00am. I was turned away due to apparently booking a virtual eye exam. I was caught off guard and confused by being told that I booked a virtual eye exam. The woman who was checking me in then rudely comments "it says virtual right when you book online". Again, I'm confused because I have never heard of a virtual eye exam and I've been wearing glasses since childhood. I then tried to show her the email I received to confirm my appointment, which indicates nowhere that I scheduled a virtual appointment, to point out that the location of the appointment is at MyEyeDr at 8 Stiles Rd, Salem NH. Her response is "yeah that's the location". She also noted that "this just went into effect yesterday". And also that she tried calling me to make me aware that this was telehealth, I checked my voicemails and the only message I have from MyEyeDr is a voicemail from September 13 confirming an appointment for September 20 (which I had to reschedule to today, September 27). My overall experience was very poor, the woman checking me in made me feel like I was doing something wrong by showing up in person for an eye exam. Very rude, won't be returning. *to note- before posting this review I went to book another appointment to see there is any mention of a virtual appointment, and there is not.
