Dr. Adam B. Pass

I recently had the opportunity to see Dr. Pass at his new location "Eye Institute of Central New Jersey" in Cranford. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Pass was both very knowledgeable and informative. The staff was professional and the office was modern and well-kept. The eye exam was thorough, I highly recommend him or his partner Dr. Aiello to anyone seeking an ophthalmologist in New Jersey.

I went to Dr. Pass for an eye irritation. I was given medicine that caused an allergic reaction (not his fault). I we t back to see him on a Monday bc I felt strongly that what was happening to my eyes was pink eye. He assured me that wasn't the case and gave me different medicine (that helped w the itching). By Thursday, I ended up w very obvious double pink eye. I called 2x to make an appt, I was told to stop all medications and use cold compresses and the swelling as well as the itchyness would subside. When I told the receptionist that cold compresses wouldn't help, she advised that the dr couldn't do much for me right now and to call back Friday if there was no change! Essentially the dr refused to see me. For anyone who has ever had pink eye, let alone double pink eye knows that the condition itself hurts, its very itchy, causes blurriness and its highly contagious and Dr. Pass refused to see me! I went to Summit Medical Group who got me in right away, thoroughly checked me out, confirmed my severe pink eye and gave me the appropriate medication. Within 2 hours, my eyes were already feeling better. I went to Dr. Pass out of local convenience, but clearly being convenient isn't worth it.
