I have been a patient for at least 25 years. Dr. Cavallo has assisted me through several eye issues. I have found him to be personable and professional. He also provided excellent help to my Dad who had diabetes and complex eye issues. Dr. Cavallo has the latest technology is his office to offer the best possible eye care to me. He is also a very nice person.

My family and I have been coming to Dr. Cavallo's office for a while now, and we are very happy with the care we have received. He takes very good care of his patients and creates a very welcoming environment for the office. The place is clean and well kept. Looking forward to my next visit!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Cavallo for over 30 years. My children, who live out of state now, travel back to New Jersey to go to him for eye care. I see him whenever I have any kind of eye problems, as well as my normal yearly eye checkup and glaucoma screening. He is extremely intelligent and gives his patients the utmost care and attention and time. He's kind and courteous and explains in detail the situation. He has the latest diagnostic equipment and keeps his medical knowledge up to date. I would highly recommend him for your eyecare. He's actually one of the doctor's I look forward to seeing!

I've been a patient of Dr. Cavallo's for 26 straight years. He is and always has been incredibly welcoming, helpful and generous not only to me, but to my family as well. He's also well informed- he is always up to date on the latest research, literature and advancements in the world of optometry, to his patients' benefit. I couldn't recommend Dr. Cavallo any more to anyone looking for an excellent optometric physician.

Dr Cavallo always takes the time to discuss all concerns regarding my eye care. He provides a great selection of frames and gives me an extra prescription in case I want to get frames elsewhere. I have been with Dr Cavallo for nearly 15 years and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I obtained new vision insurance for this year, called Dr. Cavallo's office to schedule an appointment since they are 'in-network'. Unfortunately I had the same experience as another reviewer - Vai (previously posted a low rating about 5 months ago). They 'passed' on taking me on as a client after learning about my insurance, astigmatism, and contact lenses; and due to "not worth the time based on my insurance". Practicing discriminatory patient selection based on financial factors, goes against the AOA code of conduct. I will be filing a complaint with the AOA, state board, and my insurance. This is completely unethical.

Dr. Cavallo is an amazing doctor and gave me a very thorough eye exam even when I was accidentally late for my appointment. He helped me figure out how to best take care of my contact lenses and prescribed me the correct power for my lenses. He was always very forward with what was happening during my eye exam so there were no surprised which made the experience enjoyable (as someone who hates doctors this is a huge deal). My whole family will be going to him from now on.

My teenage son was overdue on an exam and needed contacts. Dr Cavallo was extremely thorough and so patient. Also has a great selection of frames if my son ever decided to take a break from contacts. Awesome experience. So happy we decided to switch. Highly recommend!
