Even though it was pretty quiet and staffing was barebones, it seemed like a tight-knit group, and everybody was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They are good at explaining why they think I should pay extra for something and advising me on whether I should save money on things I may not need. I love love love Dr. Shah and his office staff. In my years of getting eye exams, I never received an analysis as thorough or and Q&A as informative. I have had dry eyes since I was a child and never knew there was a treatment that might help. I do now! And I am excited to give it a go.
Oh, and whoever buys the frames knows fashion. They may not have a huge selection for men, but I liked more than a handful and had to choose. That was another highlight for me.

Eye doctor office staff were very nice and efficient. The facility could use a little freshing up. Doctor did not provide measurements with prescription so now I have to go back and get measured since I wear Progressives. Pearl Vision employees said their computer systems went down and they could not process any new orders. It was near closing time during the upcoming holiday. I thought I'd be going home with a couple of new glasses ordered but now my search continues. I went hone and I found the same $319 frames I liked online for $149.

I had a good experience during the actual exam with the doctor, who was thorough and attentive. However, I believe the scheduling process could use some improvement.
When I booked my appointment online, there was no option to specify the reason for my visit, which would have been helpful. Additionally, during check-in at the office, I was not asked about the reason for my visit either. The staff assumed it was a routine vision exam, but it was actually a medical issue.
When I called to confirm my appointment time, I inquired about potential waiting times and was advised that I could come in immediately. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the office, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes before seeing the doctor.
Overall, while the examination itself was satisfactory, the scheduling and communication aspects could be enhanced for a better patient experience.
