Walmart Vision & Glasses

I had a great experience at the Walmart Eye Care Center in Garfield, NJ. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. The eye exam was thorough, and the optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly. They also had a good selection of frames at reasonable prices. I appreciated how efficient and organized the whole visit was. Definitely recommend if you're looking for convenient and affordable eye care.

I recently visited your location and was disappointed by the service I received. The staff member I spoke with, who has brown skin, is chubby, and wears glasses, was unfriendly, rude, and didn't smile once, making me feel uncomfortable. I believe customer service should be warm and welcoming, and this experience was far from that.

Dr. Kim was so thorough and helpful. My right lens prescription took some trial and error to figure out the most comfortable contacts. He explained to me exactly what was going on with my astigmatism and how the contact rotates, and therefore is not at one size fits all fit. Im super happy with my lenses now. Thanks Dr Kim!

Claudia better get some interpersonal skills training, I was explaining to her what was the reason why I was there, and she responded with hostility and aggressively that I was accusing them(who would say that), I was just telling her the frame was not in the same condition that it was brought in(unfortunately my husband did not check it out once he received the frames), and the right arm was very loose, and maybe when they were putting the lenses in, it was not handled properly, that is not an accusation, that is an explanation of how things happen, then she proceeded to say come back tomorrow when the manager is here, I approached her politely and treated her with respect, another gentleman was also trying to give me a hard time when I shortly explained about the frames, they have no courtesy with their clientele, he finally took the frames to the back and fixed it in no time, they need to learn to treat customers, without our businesses they wouldn't have a job there, be careful dealing with this people, I pretty much was in shock of the rudeness and use of such a word like accusation, when all I was doing was explaining, they don't deserve our businesses. Very disappointing. Claudia shouldn't be allowed to work in this field. This job is not for her, what a horrible attitude she has.

The staff is welcoming and professional. And so is the doctor, I will definitely be back and recommend it. Thank you for the excellent service!

In person they were fine, but the glasses are overpriced compared to what you can find online (which is of the same quality, and in fact has some more advanced UV/blue light filters). Over the phone I talked with a woman there who was very rude and refused to give me my PD for my prescription (which should be included on the Rx) as I planned to buy another pair of glasses via my own means. She refused to give me my PD on the basis of me buying glasses from a third party. I could have just have easily had said I wanted my PD because I didn't think my glasses were measured properly, but I chose to be honest and a passive aggressive response was all I got. These employees really need to get checked. Also, I was very polite and did not argue with her. I just measured the distance on my own in the end but was hoping for something more accurate. Do not recommend.
