This facility is great! Everyone is friendly and helpful. It's very clean and there are lots of exam rooms. All the doctors are very thorough during your visit and explain things very well. The medical assistants are awesome as well. I found out I had cataracts and Dr Kramer and Dr Phillips were so helpful and caring from start to finish and just great during the entire process. I can't believe how well I can see now! It's amazing everything is so bright and clear. I definitely recommend going here for all your eye care needs.
I had a YAG laser treatment in August 2025 with Dr, Kramer. Came in today Sept. 24 for a follow up expecting to see same physician a Dr. Phillips OD was seen instead. I questioned the front desk staff about this, she said Dr. Kramer is not there today. Really???? This front desk staff took it upon herself to schedule my appointment with another Doctor. I assumed I was seeing an opthalmologist not an optometrist for a post op YAG laser. Not until I got home that I noticed the appt. scheduler gave me an appointment card with Dr. Phillips name on it. I called the office about my complaint. I explained that I had a YAG laser treatment, I need a Thorough eye exam, she re scheduled me for Set. 26, 2025 to see Dr. Kramer, she said there was a " system error", when I asked why wasn"t I informed of the scheduling error, as I was talking to her about the issue she continued to over talk me instead of listening to my concern. When I asked her for her name she threatened to disconnect the call which she promptly did.
Dr. Kramer is an excellent eye surgeon. I recommend him to any one at any time. This front desk person needs to go. She's rude and nasty. The scheduler needs to know that laser treatment follow up belongs to the opthalmologist. I wasn't there to get my eyes checked for corrective eye glasses.
Also, when I first walked in for my appointment a woman sat in the chair moaning, her head down , her hand over her right eye. No one in that office came to her until I approached the lady , she said she was experiencing eye pain.
Avoid this going to this place. My mother went to get medication for her eye dryness but was told that her visit wouldn't be covered if she was experiencing pain. She said she wishes to cancel the visit if the insurance wouldn't cover the visit and then the medical assistant rudely shouted that my mother is inpatient and doesn't give her a break and to let her check the insurance. Truly a wonder how a medical assistant like that gets hired
I'm very disappointed with my dad's experience at this clinic. My 77-year-old father went in because his right eye had been tearing for a while. During his visit, Dr. Liva did not evaluate him directly; instead, the assistant performed the exam. They diagnosed him with dry eyes and prescribed eye drops.
A few days later, when the tearing didn't improve, we sought a second opinion. It turned out he actually has a cornea infection, which requires frequent antibiotic eye drops. Additionally, during his visit, they gave him a new glasses prescription that was significantly higher than his current one. Thankfully, the staff at our usual optical center caught the issue before it was filled.
This clinic was careless in their examination and inaccurate in their diagnosis, which could have caused serious issues with my dad's eyesight. I would not recommend this place.
Horrible service. Was forced into getting lenses even when i could not see with the trails clearly. Called them the next day to cancel my lenses was on hold for 30 mins and the receptionist said someone will get back to me no one did. I disputed my charges but they still cancelled my dispute. Do not go here and waste your time and money.
Went to Dr. Liva's office for examination for contacts. 2 hours later, and the first time I saw the doctor, he informed me that I can't get contacts because I have astigmatism and was too old. 6 months later (and older), I was seen by an Omni doctor who disagreed, after he stopped laughing about the "too old" remark, and sent me for contacts. Never been happier.
The front desk lady was extremely rude. It is important to have polite and professional personnel to assist customers. We are not receiving a free service; we are paying. My recommendation is to improve the quality of your front desk staff, as they are key to the proper functioning of any business.
The Front desk lady who says her name is Joanna was extremely rude. I honestly can't see how you allow someone like that to greet people . She was on her cellphone on speaker with a personal call ignoring me then rolled eyes when I said hello the third time as if I was interrupting her personal call. Very rude and nasty. The lady from the eyeglass fitting section had to come over to help. This happened 12:15 on July 1st asked her her name and she said Joanna with her neck moving and then stared at me as though she was trying to stare me down. this Happened as I was picking up my trial contacts . I think Dr Phillips is great and the young lady who helped train me with the contact and well as the lady from the eyeglass fitting section. Very kind friendly people.
