Dr. Reena Gupta

I had an excellent experience with my ICL surgery! Dr. Gupta was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. Her professionalism and warmth truly stood out, and the procedure and recovery went smoothly. I'm so grateful to have been in her care and highly recommend!

My mom had an appoint with Dr. Reena Gupta. First, my mom did a consult with Dr. Gupta for cataract surgery. However, my mom decided against her. She went to another doctor. My mom's surgery was successful but she's been having a side effect. She went to her original eye doctor but she wanted a SECOND OPINION so she went to Dr. Gupta. She scheduled an appoint and told the front staff WHY she wanted an appoint. When she arrived, they performed a bunch of screenings. First of all, Dr. Gupta is clueless. She thought my mom was there for cataract surgery consult again (when my mom made it clear with the front desk when she made the appoint). When my parents explained no we are here for a second opinion. Dr. Gupta got so upset that we didn't pick her for the surgery she was lashing out. Her words were.. why did you come here? You picked that doctor for the surgery so why did you come back here? My parents said we want a second opinion. You did all the tests and scans can you just review it with us? She said.. no you shouldn't have come here. We can't do anything for you. It's doesn't make sense why you are here. Go back to the doctor you picked. The doctor was extremely petty. She acted like my parents weren't human beings. Her behavior is disgusting. Please avoid this doctor!! She's only cares about money.

Dr. Reena Gupta has a terrible bedside manner and she needs to be retrained in patient relations. She was very rude and dismissive towards my mother. She spoke down to her and made it seem as though my mother did not have a choice in the matter of her own eyes. She only corrected herself when I spoke up and addressed her statements. She will not be tending to my mother

Dr. Reena Gupta changed my life! Throughout my lasik procedure, Dr. Gupta remained positive and encouraging, and it helped put me at ease. Because of her, I wake up every day without contact lenses or glasses. For anyone considering lasik surgery, look no further than Dr. Gupta, who is extremely intelligent, confident, and talented.

I first saw Dr Gupta in the West Orange office because it was an emergency. All follow up visits were in Iselin, which is much closer to home. From the very beginning I was concerned about losing sight in my left eye, but Dr Gupta reassured me that if I did everything she recommended, I would be OK. Dr Gupta started treatment with benign steps to treat Neurotrophic Keratitis, which resulted from a sensory rhizotomy. When less aggressive steps didn't show any improvements, Dr Gupta recommended a procedure called a tarsorrhaphy, to protect and heal the cornea. Less than one week after the tarsorrhaphy, Dr Gupta told me that my abrasion had healed. I am now looking forward to complete vision being restored to the eye. Thank you, Dr. Gupta.

I rarely come online to put reviews about any doctor, however this one was impossible not to write about. Her level of unprofessionalism and how rude she is I have actually never seen. I went to go see her last week & She just completely dismissed me, stood up and left the room before I finished explaining how I am feeling, I was actually in complete AWE. I have actually never in my life had a doctor treat me this way, it's pretty insane just to think about. She is a smart Aleck and Shows no level of sympathy whatsoever, I am honestly in shock I still have patients see this doctor. Shame on you.

My Daughter had an amazing experience with the doctor. She made her feel very comfortable and answered all our questions with professional knowledge.. The doctor was very friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend ..
