Dr Savoy & Siegel: Siegel Martin OD

I had an awful experience with Dr. Savoy's. I went in for an eye exam, and they wrote me a prescription that didn't work at all. I tried reaching out to have it corrected, but instead of offering any support or honoring industry standard warranties, he refused to help. It felt like they were just trying to get me in and out without caring about the quality of care or my needs. When I asked for a resolution, they were evasive, and the whole situation seemed shady. Honestly, it felt like they were just interested in making a quick buck and not actually helping their patients. Definitely not the professional service I expected, and the fact that they won't stand by their prescriptions or even consider making things right says a lot about their integrity. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's clear why they have a 2-star rating on Yelp. Stay away if you value your time and money.

Dr. Desai is absolutely wonderful! Very thorough with her exams and you can tell that she genuinely cares about you as a patient. She takes the time to fully explain the results of your exam and the recourse for any eye/vision issues you may be having. The staff are great as well. Kind and helpful. Not sure what any negative reviews on here are about. I've been going here for nearly 15 years and have never had even a slightly negative experience. Great selection of frames too! Head here if you're not already a client!

I went to adjust the frame of my sun glasses But they didn't want help me or talk to me since im no regular customer and i didn't buy mine from them ! I offered money just to check my glasses but they didn't want to help at all Definitely not going back anymore !

Dr. R. Desai is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my daughter, she made my 5 year old feel comfortable at her first eye exam. Dr. Desai was informative and explain each and every thing she was doing. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend Drs. Siegel, Savoy & Desai 5

I have been coming here for years and would not change it for the world. I appreciate how clean and attentive they are in this establishment. They treat you like family, and I always have the pleasure of being paired with Jaimie. She always recommends the best glasses within a reasonable budget. I love her aura and energy; thank you, Jaimie, for making my doctor's visit so enjoyable.

I left a review here 5 years ago and looks like it was taken down. The owner said I was mistaken about their business and I wasn't a patient there and they had the wrong place. I was NOT a patient there (although those reviews are just as bad) - I was a customer in their retail section. I've pain out of pocket for both prescription glasses non prescription sunglasses. They are absolutely the place because there is no other store with their name on Newark Ave in JC.. They were never great, but they were ok. But the last experience was sooooo awful, I wrote a terrible review. Just insanely rude customer service. Like the nastiest. Which still seems to be a problem. Look at their Yelp reviews. They also don't respond to anything negative. I actually contacted them on their website via an email (not public) to tell them how terrible my experience was and no one answered. There's a reason they have terrible reviews over so many years. They are truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had. 5 years later and I still remember it. What does that say about the place?

Daniel was extremely helpful and was able to help fix my glasses. I'd highly recommend him for his service.

This place has gone downhill. I've been seeing them for 12 years and they used to be great, but something changed over the past year or two. Their prescriptions are off so I have to return the new glasses and let them try a few times to get it right. I dont even wear the last pair they made for me. I wont be returning
