Palisade Eye

I have been a patient of Palisade Eye for at least 25 years and my experience with either office I have been to is always a wonderful experience. The staff is excellent and extremely friendly and helpful and Dr. Panariello is the absolute best!! A special thank you to Sasha in the Jersey City office. She has such a wonderful spirit about her.

Been a patient for the last couple years, despite fear and anxiety (injections into eye) Dr Mallick deserves high praise on all levels. Conduct and demeanor are outstanding, he eases the fear in a remarkable way every single time, very patient, explains the process and answers all questions.The procedure is done before you realize it due to his great way of distracting you. The staff is cheerful, friendly and very efficient in managing the place and the patients even when it is really crowded on certain days, perhaps a sign how well this office is perceived. Would recommend this office without any hesitation.

The doctor and the PA were excellent. That said, our appointments which were supposed at 4pm started at 4:41. I had to give my personal and insurance details again after having been to this office previously, with none of my or my family's information having changed. Once our prescriptions were diagnosed, we were not given complete prescriptions (no PD) because we were not buying from this location. We had this before as well, but after some debate last time, we got the information we wanted, but did not want to deal with this as it was late in the day. Again, the doctor and PA were first rate.

I simply submitted a request to see a specialist and my insurance never ever requested referrals to see any specialist. The lady in the phone informed me that I have to go through a regular doctor visit with them or get referral to see the specialist I said I have a referral already from my primary doctor, however she said that I still have to go through a general visit first and that's the insurance policy. I believe That's not true, and I will call my insurance and tell them that and find out why I been told that way

The doctor's modi behavior was excellent and helpful, especially from one receptionist, Jesline, who was extremely rude. If patients don't know what to do, they should be treated politely instead of being met with rude behavior and making faces. I am giving stars for the doctor because he was really very good.

My first time to visit Palisade Eye Associates in Palisade Ave. Jersey City. I was seen by Dr Panariello. An excellent ophthalmologist. Very kind. Took his time explaining my eye condition. Im definitely bringing my wife to his practice. Thank you Dr. Anthony Panariello.

I never leave a 1 star review anywhere. Ever. But I am extremely disappointed with my treatment today trying to access my son's record. I had to see an ophthalmologist to access some anatomic eye issues. She requested records: all prior records. This is to see if there has been great progression. I called America Best where he has been examined and treated in the past. They immediately faxed over the prescription that I asked for. I called back when the doctor said she needs to whole record. They again said: "I'll send this over right away." Palisade was next. I called. Was put on a long hold then disconnected. I called again half an hour later. Put on a 15 minute hold. I gave up and hung up myself. I called back. Only because i insisted did she finally even take his date of birth to look it up. Then she claims it can't be sent for another few hours because everyone is at lunch. I'm literally at the doctor's office waiting for documents and they mean to tell me no one can help with quick fax? Seriously? So I'll be waiting for hours? This is totally unacceptable. If I'm at work and i heard this, i wouldn't mind pausing between a chew to help someone. But nope. I guess not there. Very disappointed with this lack of compassion.

Best rye doctor in town. Never feel any pain during any injection or surgery. Very soft and light hands on. Perfect for eye care. Highly recommended to all who needed.
