Such a wonderful shop! They provide a full range of eyewear services and can service you even if you purchased glasses from somewhere else. I went in for an adjustment and left very happy with the results. Thank you!
Amazing optician! Precise and super quick and Jenny went above and beyond to take care of everything! And on top of that my glasses came back ready in one day! Highly recommend.
I brought a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses where the hinge was loose/screw needed to be replaced. They fixed it for me free of charge, even though I wanted to pay. Great customer service, highly recommend.
Great service, they also got some cool designer frames
I dropped Mohameds glasses off, nobody ever told me there was visible wear on the frames we provided. I would have been more than happy to shop for new frames if the sales representative would have suggested it.
I was told that they would be ready to be picked up on the 19th. They were not ready.
Then after only 6 days after picking the new glasses up, the screw falls out while he was riding to work.
I contacted the shop immediately, just hopeful they could rectify this issue. I was told there is a 30 days warranty on the glasses but they would speak to the Dr and get back to me.
I never received a call back, rather when I followed up with the office. I was told "we did, we responded to the review Mohamed left".
The most unprofessional!
No courtesy, no respect!
The staff member was argumentative immediately and tried to find blame on us. Then insisted there is nothing they will do to rectify this. We are out almost $700 because of their lack of honesty and transparency!
Emily and Cynthia are just the most helpful and professional staff at Provision. I walked into ProV to have my glasses checked and not only did Cynthia repair my frames, Emily also kept me company that while i waited. Super friendly and helpful.
TL;DR: They screwed up every single step. Incompetent and dishonest. STAY AWAY if you believe you should get a prescription after an eye exam, or if you want to see, or if you value your sanity.
I chose Provision Eye Care because it looked like a nice neighborhood shop. Big mistake. My husband and I had back-to-back appointments after verifying (in person) that they accepted our insurance.
The doctor appeared virtually - on a screen so far away I literally couldn't see her because I'm nearsighted. She vaguely said my prescription was "mostly stable." When I asked for clarification, I was cut off by Cynthia, who insisted "the prescription hasn't changed." I left with no trials, no actual prescription. My husband got trials with the same prescription as last year.
When I called next business day asking for trials (I was out of lenses) they flat-out refused. They said my prescription was only renewed, not updated, so I don't need a trial. Plus they didn't have trials in stock. BOTH LIES. Later, they emailed me a prescription labeled "Trial 1." I thought maybe I'd get trials, but it actually meant the prescription was not finalized. If I hadn't pressed, we would've ordered contacts with the wrong prescription.
After this, they called to say they don't actually take my plan, and it was actually $200. They then suggested I could pay the $200, and they'd put $187 of that toward a contact lens order.
At this point they magically agreed to give me trials! Yay! But only if I agreed to order contacts. I hadn't even gotten my final prescription yet. I suspected my prescription got better, but they were straight up unable to confirm or deny the changes. Even so, they still tried to make me purchase contacts just to comp their losses. It took several rounds of "No, I'm not ordering yet," for them to relent.
Five business days later I finally get my prescription, showing a 0.25 diopter change. My husband never received his. The only one he had was -1.00, but the trials he received were -1.25, same as his previous year. They emailed me that he had to make a choice after I pressed them. No one told him he had to pick, they just... let the matter go?
In person, Cynthia claimed that -3.25 vs -3.50 "isn't that different," and that I'd only notice slight distance blur. Cool, but I drive at night and chase a toddler. Distance vision kind of matters. She also admitted my new prescription was based on the info about my old prescription that I gave them verbally and was shocked when I said my prescription doesn't match last year's. Like... did you even do your own exam?
When I asked why my husband's trial lenses didn't match the prescription on file, Cynthia said to "just ignore that prescription." She then verbally confirmed -1.25 is correct. But when they finally sent his "real" prescription (after I called them to remind them...) it was -1.00. A lens he's never even tried.
It took a full week of phone calls and frustration to get a basic prescription. At every step, I had to chase them down just to get what I already paid for. Both Emily and Cynthia were defensive and dismissive the entire time. I asked for the management's contact info but did not receive it. In place, I got... lies that Cynthia was one of the managers, when she herself said she's just a technician to me? Anyway, Emily hung up on me.
I regret not going to literally any other place. Rude, unprofessional, medically unreliable. Insane that this place is in operation.
I'm begging anyway who wants to see clearly and not spend a week fighting to get your own prescription -- do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE.
pics: email correspondence about husband's trials, showing they're asking him to pick between -1.25 and -1.00, which he has never had. when confronted about this, they just... ignored it?

First time visiting Provision Eye Care and I must say.. Cynthia and Jennifer were absolutely amazing! Very thorough, great communication and literally kept a smile on my face the entire appointment. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of frames. I look forward to returning on future appointments, if not, just to stop by and say hi! Great team.
