My appointment was at 9:00, I was not called back until 9:45. I had another doctor scheduled for 11:00 am, so I was concerned about missing it. Then, after finding out I needed a contact lense fitting, I needed to make a separate appointment which is three weeks from my appointment time. Not very efficient. The new office is nice.

I'd had a problem in my right eye for 7 weeks which another ophthalmologist failed to diagnose. That doctor thought perhaps I had a neurological problem. I spent 7 weeks feeling great anxiety and frustration and waiting for an appointment with a neuro-ophthalmologist who could not see me for 2 months. My gut feeling after several weeks of waiting was that it was really not a neurological problem, and I booked an appointment with Dr. Uretsky for a second opinion. He diagnosed the problem immediately and put my fears to rest. Words cannot describe the relief I felt. I'm so glad I'm not still waiting to waste my time with a neuro-ophthalmologist that I did not need to see. And very thankful it is not a neurological problem!
