Docs are great, but staff is even more amazing. In the course of five minutes, Christy at the front desk checked me in, solved my billing problem, and helped an older woman struggling with her phone to call her medical pickup. All with a level of patience and compassion that I could only dream of achieving. Seriously... sitting in the waiting room watching this staff go out of their way to be kind and helpful to patients who are mostly in their 70s and 80s is like watching a heartwarming movie.

DR. Park is absolutely an amazing surgeon and doctor. I had a retinal detachment in February 2024, which he repaired. I recovered from the surgery very quickly. As a result, I have perfect 20/20 and better vision than I had before - did I say amazing? He comes into the room, does the exam, and is informative, clear and to the point with any questions. He listens well and is very compassionate in understanding what people with retina detachments go through. I am so grateful for his competence, knowledge and skill.
I will give a shout out to the amazing staff at Mid Atlantic Retina as well. They were able to get me into surgery the next day when I called them in a panic, and coordinated everything flawlessly. You all saved my sight! Always courteous and professional at every check up Mid Atlantic Retina is an hour from my home, but I would never go anywhere else.
