I misplaced my glasses for a few days or a week or so. I needed a pair so I went to Oakland to use my vision insurance. I was greeted upon entering. I walk towards Ms. Melissa. I sit down and we proceed to look up my insurance info. What we can and can't do. GVS free frames over there this wall $100 off the price that wall $50 deductible. Anti flare, scratch resistance, some other things and let's do transition. Why you cause my Wife told me so . I went on a Monday I received a text on Friday. Your glasses are ready for pick up Awesome. I make my way there perfect fit the Oakland team did Great. Look how Awesome my glasses are.

Called for an appt. Whoever answered wanted to give me the doctors NPI number, I believed that's what she called it and told me I had to call my insurance to see if the doctor is a participant. They want you to put work in so they could get paid. Most doctors have technology to check this

Large assortment of frames to choose from. The entire staff are a delight to work with and take the time necessary to get all your questions answered. Different options are presented and explained so you can make an informed decision about what you want or need. All sorts of repairs are done perfectly. The very best place for eyewear and vision exams. There are other places that are closer to my home and I tried them early on, but once I found Oakland Vision and Hearing Center, I would never go anywhere else. Yes, they are THAT good and above the rest.

Everyone was welcoming and friendly, the store was nice, and Dr. Nikki was great. I haven't had an eye exam in a long time, and this was a very comfortable experience for someone like me who wasn't familiar with what it entailed. I will be recommending them to everyone I know who needs any kind of support for their eyes!

Holy dear lord. This was a horrid experience. I just got a phone call saying I owe $55 when nobody explained nor did I get a phone call that my insurance isn't covered until March. So basically they scammed me for money. The doctor did not introduce herself at all I had to ask if she was the doctor. Now they are going to bill my medical (mind you for a five minute of reading letters on a board) I could imagine how much that would be. I came here thinking this would be a better experience but it was not and won't be returning.
