My son was prescribed the wrong glasses!!! I got excuses from the receptionists on why he was still squinting & was told I would have to pay out of pocket if it turned out he needed a new prescription. I got a 2nd opinion and found out that my son has an astigmatism in both his eyes!

Front desk is competent, caring and friendly. Salesman Shawn is excellent. Knows the eye care business, friendly and genuine. Repeat customer here.

Sitting in the parking lot after just completing an eye exam. I didn't expect to have fun during the exam, but I did! The front staff were helpful and delightful. Dr. Edelsberg is highly competent, very thorough and straight forward. I left there informed and completely satisfied. Prices were a bit high, but with insurance, it was less painful.

The worst eye dr. The receptionist was purposfully antagonistic when i brought up multiple issues and acted like they could not be addressed. I had a medical emergency. I went to the emergency room and they could not see me until days after. They scammed me for contact lenses. My insurance covers a year of free contact lenses. They were charging me hundreds of dollars a year for contacts and contact eye exam. Horizon NJ Health/Medicare customers beware.

They are extremely unprofessional and have horrible attitudes. Everytime we have gone, there has been a problem. I went to get my new glasses frames today and they were the absolute wrong frames. We went back in and they said there was nothing they could do and were saying that it was our fault because "they just write/order what they are given". I know for a fact that we did not give them those frames to order. Now we are waiting on a call from the manager.

Use caution! The staff at Optical World are worthless. I came in for an appointment, Dr was friendly and had my exam, no issues. Then proceeded to order frameless glasses. First pair arrived damaged. They were sent back. Second pair arrived and before going to the store, I asked the staff to confirm the glasses were fixed. They confirmed and I arrived and the glasses were damaged. These were not small damages but painfully noticeable ones where the frames were out of alignment. Yet the staff confirmed they had checked them? 6 weeks later and nothing. No replacement glasses, no follow up, no ownership by the office. Total visit was over $600 including the glasses and if not for Amex protecting me, this office would have been happy to try and keep my money. And I'm still working with my insurance to get me deductible for my frames returned! I now understand why LensCrafters is a decent solution. The office staff at Optical world are as clueless as they are worthless and you are simply $$ to them. Go elsewhere!

I wish I had read the reviews!!! What a terrible experience! The staff is so incredibly rude, and disrespectful. If you are a Senior or have a Senior parent please go elsewhere. My lens prescription was also wrong, I need to go back. Somehow they say it is my fault, which I do not understand. Such eye prices for eye wear to receive such awful service!

I picked a frame waited a week got no call. Then I called and they said it was out of stock.....hmm would if been nice to let me know... so I picked another pair waited 2 weeks no call ... When I enquired they said they we're going to call me it's out of stock too.. .I was little angry and said they we're unorganized .Girl who answered the phone gave me attitude and said they don't mind if I go somewhere else there busy , and she said the Dr said they don't have to take my insurance. They put me on hold for 10 min I called back determined to get my glasses they said the Dr /owner said they don't have an opening till December to just pick a frame .Shouldn't I be the one with attitude ? This is the worst experience I ever had at this office . I can't believe it
