Accurate Eye Care: Yang Chang, OD

Dr. Chang is the absolute best, especially when it comes to OrthoK. She is actually the owner of the practice, and you can tell how much care and attention she gives to every patient that she personally sees. Dr. Chang took a huge amount of time from day one to discuss everything about OrthoK and answer each and every question that I had. My personal lifestyle has changed significantly because of the ortho-K treatment that I've had done here. It still amazes me that every morning I can see very clearly without the use of glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Chang is very particular about making sure that a person is not uncomfortable with the ortho-K procedure, and that is something that is very positive about all that she is doing here. So if you ever think about going to an ortho-K or if you just want an eye care professional that cares and knows what she is doing, then you want to be here. Dr. Chang is very caring and very dedicated to giving you the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Chang is the best!!! Been seeing her a few years now, she threats you like family and really cares about you! She is truly a people person. If you have bad experience with her, the problem is you.

Dr. Chang is the BEST eye doctor ever!!! I have known her for over 20 years. She is the most HONEST, genuine, caring and professional eye doctor. She always has great attitude towards the patients. She is NEVER rude, always so humble and patient. I was being taken care by her so well, better than all the doctors I have been to. I followed her when she opened her englewood office in 2011, I received the most comprehensive eye exam from her. She is always so polite and respectful. You will not be able to find a better eye doctor! She has so many great reviews I totally agree with. Do not believe those negative reviews posted about her, there is always a small percentage of people not happy with themselves and critical about others. They want to ruin others. Please ignore them. Dr. Chang does the whole eye exam from the beginning to the end, always spends as much time as each patient need, where can you find such a great doctor nowadays. With the overwhelming great reviews she has, who would you believe, of course I believe the overwhelming positive reviews! Trust me, she has put the patient's interests foremost. You will be glad she is your eye doctor because she will always provide great eye care consistently. She always has so much respect for each person she came across. Always willing to listen attentively. She is also extremely knowledgeable in her eye care field. She is one of the best eye doctor that truly care about the patients-that is so hard to find.

At this point Dr chang is harrassing me and trying to intimidate me. Dr Chang called me after I posted this review and BEFORE posting her response to my review so I can take it down. I didn't answer, she called again and when I didn't answer, she followed up by responding to my review falsely accusing me of being angry and not to post my "unhappiness on Google", lol. Dr chang then changed her response. I ATTACHED A PICTURE of the first response of hers in which she quickly decided to edit it. When someone mentions her hostile attitude, she responds that she was courteous and professional but its anything but that. PLEASE BEWARE! I bet you if someone talked to her or her son like that, she wouldn't call that person "courteous and professional". Dr chang keeps editing and posted to my review 6 times already. (I posted pics of all 6) The gaslighting and facade she puts on is crazy! ** In response to you're 6th edit, I have given plenty of good reviews too to businesses that deserve it. I've supported your "small business" for years so idk why you're saying I don't support "small businesses". You're supposed to be a professional yet, you keep going back n forth editing your responses to me. Many ppl choose not to write reviews so I'm sure there are negative and similar complaints about you (which there are especially on YELP). I choose to be honest on reviews whether it be positive or negative. If you don't like honesty, then don't treat customers poorly or like your above them because you're not. Please get help. I started seeing Dr. Chang 13/14 years ago, maybe more, ever since she was at LensCrafters in Paramus. When she moved to Englewood (around 2014) to open up her own practice, I followed her there as a patient. It was a much further commute for me but I liked her as my eye doctor and she used to be cheerful and friendly. A couple years ago, she left the Englewood location to go back to Paramus. I called one day to make an appointment. She was so incredibly rude to me to the point where I had to call her out on it. Long story short, Dr. Chang called me back that day to apologize to me. We spoke, had a mature conversation and I decided hey maybe she's been going through a rough time. This morning I called the office's answering service (because she hasnt had someone work for her in years) so I can make an appt. Dr. chang called me back. I didn't go last year ( because I was waiting on my insurance) so when she called me back I was genuinely happy to hear from her. I asked her how she was and that it's been a while and i joked that hopefully she remembers me. She replied with a VERY stern "No. I don't. What insurance do you have". I told her my ins, in which she said she doesn't accept it anymore. I said "oh no! Then she followed up by saying " Do you have any more questions"? And of course I was like oh man, I've been with you for so long Dr, you don't remember me?! We used to talk about some personal matters, she talked to me about God etc. Well she cut me off while talking and again very RUDELY she says "Do you have any more questions"? I was going to tell her I would just pay out of pocket and AGAIN CUTS ME OFF and says "Do you have any more questions"? At that point I politely said to her that there was no reason for her to be rude to me and she AGAIN says "Do you have any more questions"? I said " no , that's it. Take care'. Dr. Chang has become even more hostile over the years. She used to talk about God and Bible quotes. Dr. Chang, you need to look to God and ask him why you treated me this way today and look deep within yourself to work on yourself because I am not the only one you've talked down to. You can see on her negative reviews on Google and yelp that it's a pattern that she's VERY rude to people. Back in 2014 I left a great review. Today, is a VERY different one. I'm not sure if she's unhappy in life or disgruntled that she has to do extra work bc she doesn't want to hire any one to help her but she has changed as a person for the worst. I hope you could look deeper within yourself dr chang.

Dr Chang is persistent and experience shows through her work . A very kind and genuine person.

Dr Chang was one of the most cheerful and kind doctors I've ever dealt with for any medical concern ever. She took her time with me and explained each aspect of the evaluation. As long as I live in the area, I will never go to another eye doctor and I'll make sure to recommend her to every member of my family and my friends because that's honestly how wonderful she is.

Dr. Chang is the best doctor. She is very nice, honestly, detailed and carful. I have seen her for many years. I had many eye doctors before her. She is the first and only eye doctor told me I had other health problem when she first time examined my eyes. Since then I have followed her for 3 different locations. She found I had narrow angle eye problem in 2021. I was able to have eye laser surgery in 2022 to correct the problem. She never pressure me to get new glasses if my eyes vision is not changed too much. When I need new glasses, she would spend time to find the frame to fit me the best and the price is always lower than other places. Her office is always very clean. Dr. Chang's skill is number one, she is still learning more advanced newly skills to keep up to today.

I have been going to Dr. Chang for over 5 years now, and I love her just as much as I did when I first came. Dr. Chang is very passionate about her patients and giving them the best possible care. No matter how many patients she has she will always make your visit with her very personable. She constantly asks not only about me but about my family who also have been coming for years. Dr.Chang is an amazing eye doctor that always gives me the best possible treatment and advice for how to continue to have great eyecare. I would recommend her to anyone because she truly is the best!!
