My glass frames broke this morning. I found the Pearl Vision store on 17 North. I was prepared to purchase new frames. First all of the staff members were very professional and personable. They advised me that they could repair them.They spent 20 minutes working on them. They were fixed like new and did not charge me.
I would definitely recommend them and look forward to seeing them for future eye care needs.

This is a tough rating because my eye exam with Dr. Z was great, as it always is. Unfortunately, my experience afterward with two associates was uncomfortable.
One associate, Deb, was very pushy about purchasing an additional pair of frames. Even after I explained that it was out of my price range, she continued to press the issue in front of other customers, which felt embarrassing and unnecessary.
The associate who checked me out, Maria, was polite but very disengaged. She made little eye contact and the interaction felt impersonal.
Overall, it was a strange visit and not what I've come to expect from a place I've used as my eye care provider for some time. It left me reconsidering whether I'll return in the future, which is disappointing.

Dr. Linda is an exceptional and highly knowledgeable optometrist. I scheduled an appointment with Visionworks in Paramus, but upon arrival, they informed me that my insurance coverage for an eye exam was uncertain and that I would need to await a fax from my insurance provider to confirm coverage. Despite being contacted by Visionworks to schedule the exam and receive confirmation of coverage, I had already spent an hour and a half waiting. They informed me that we are a retail establishment and that Pearl Vision may be able to accommodate my needs.
Upon entering Pearl Vision, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. As I explained that Visionworks had referred me to them, I inquired about their insurance acceptance. Dr. Linda confirmed that they do accept my insurance and was transparent and straightforward about the process. She was able to conduct the eye exam and order my contact lenses in under 30 minutes. (With no appointment)
Thank you Visionworks for referring me to Pearl Vision and for introducing me to this exceptional optometrist. I am confident that I will continue to be a loyal customer at Pearl Vision. Enjoy the Pizza.

I came to this location to get a prescription for contact lenses, since it's one of the only locations in the area covered by my vision insurance, Avesis. The optometrist I worked with was really nice and worked through getting my prescription and helping me try on contact quickly and kindly. However, the several employees that I worked with at the front desk/front of store area were pretty unpleasant and unprofessional. They seemed annoyed that I was there asking for assistance, took a very long time to figure out how to process my insurance and did so in a chaotic, unprofessional way. One of the employees had a customer on speakerphone providing her information to schedule an upcoming appointment also, which did not at all seem like the proper handling of private patient information. Everyone who is in the store could hear the information this patient was providing. If you can go somewhere else, I would recommend doing so.
