Point Optical

I live in MD but went up to check on our place in OC due to the October '25 storm situation. Forgot to bring contacts and only had my Rx glasses. Not the type to wear my glasses all the time and the rain drops were starting to get a little annoying so I set out to find a place to get some contacts. Went to this Horizon place in OC. The lady at the desk there said "they deal with this all summer" and to "try calling wal mart." Found this place and called, the doc and his staff were nothing but happy to help. I had some contacts within a few minutes of walking in the store. Such a night and day customer service experience. The vibe in Point optical is also so much brighter and welcoming. Didn't have an exam, didn't buy frames, but based on the interaction with the actual caring humans that work in and run Point Optical this is your best bet for eye care in south Jersey. Thanks again!

This company saved our vacation. My husband lost his prescription glasses in the ocean, and they were able to squeeze him in the same day. He left with contacts and an updated prescription for both contacts and glasses. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great experience all around!

Point Optical really saved me on a recent vacation! I forgot my contact lenses & they gave me a box for each eye the same morning I called! They were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend them!

Was up visiting family in NJ for 9 days from Florida for Christmas vacation, and completely forgot to bring any of my daily disposable contacts with me outside of what were in my eyes! I called and spoke to Susan at Point Optical and she worked out for me to purchase 9 pairs of their sample daily contacts for only $10- she even hand delivered them to me in my car! She was kind and caring about my predicament, immediately intent on helping me out, amazing customer service! They didn't have to help me, as I'd likely never return for future business (being from Florida), but they did and were extremely helpful and friendly!! Thank you for rescuing me from what could've been a nightmare problem!! I Highly recommend this place!!

Our kids were visiting with their 3yo daughter who fell and damaged one arm of her glasses. The folks at P/O took us without appointment and repaired/realigned the glasses while we waited and pretty much saved a family vacation. I recommend them without hesitation!

Amazing staff. Went in hoping for a new pair of glasses since I outgrew my current pair, but my eye sight did not change enough. Luckily these guys are amazing (Looking at you, Sharon) and worked with my insurance to get me an amazing pair of glasses, along with a nice pair of sunglasses to fit over them!

Don't even deserve 1 star the way I heard "THE MANAGER" aka Susan speak to my fiance over the phone. My fiance went there in Aug, 2023 and filled out paperwork with HER INFORMATION on it and got an exam done and Susan lost her records. It was mentioned that she was never even put in the system BUT she was definitely there on Aug 1st. Susan decided to tell my fiance at the beginning of the phone call that she does not wanna hear this as in my fiance's concerns, "i don't wanna hear your attitude right now".... and told her "show me respect, I could be your grandmother". You just don't say things like that to customers!! Susan proceeded to not understand my fiances frustration knowing she needs glasses bad. How do you work at a place for 20 years and lose important information like that?? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and no help whatsoever to resolve the situation. Susan the "manager" got very disrespectful and proceeded to hang up on my fiance at the end of the phone call after getting into a screaming match with her. Obviously my fiance had a tone in her voice because she was upset but the way Susan the "manager" spoke to her makes me believe that this company is fine having someone like this in that position!!! Working there for 20 years with that experience and making a screw up like this AND THEN proceeding to treat my fiance with disrespect, and providing terrible customer service shouldn't be allowed. NOTHING WAS RESOLVED SO SHE WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE HIGHER UP!! And I will be informing everyone I know of this incident advising them of the terrible treatment and customer service.
