SightMD NJ -- Toms River 413, New Jersey (Lakhani Eye Associates)

My husband Richard comes here every six months for follow up visits and our experience is wonderful. Staff is very pleasant to work with, office is comfortable, they really respect appointment times and we feel like we're in good hands with our Doctor. Excellent experience

I came in because it was recommended to me to schedule a consultation with a neuro-ophthalmologist because I had issues with visual memory tasks from my neuropsychological test. In the end, Dr. Lakhani said there was nothing he could do for me because I was looking for solutions related to the eye and brain connection with cognitive function. Which is ok if there's nothing he could've done to help me because now I know that a neuro-ophthalmologist isn't going to be the solution to my problems. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because Dr. Lakhani himself didnt seem that friendly. When he came in the room, I was expecting him to greet me properly with maybe a hello or hi Benjamin or something like that. Instead he just came into the room and went straight to the computer to sit with his assistant to look and my chart. So I wasn't the biggest fan of that. I do however liked the girl who was giving me my eye exams. I think her name for short is Hala, (I'm sorry if I got that wrong) she is my age and was very friendly and kind. Overall this seems like a good place to get your eyes checked out and to check out your neuro-ophthalmological issues, I just didn't care for Dr. Lakhani's personality.

I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival and receptionist gathered pertinent information for check-in. Waiting area was clean (and decorated)! The office appeared very busy but the wait was not long at all. I was called and moved from testing station to testing station efficiently! I was very comfortable with the staff and doctor. I have made an appointment for my husband and would recommend SightMD to everyone!

I used to take my mom to SightMD on Mule St. in Toms River and to be honest it usually wasn't a pleasant experience. While staff & Dr's were friendly & efficient the practice doesn't seem to run smoothly. Too many appts, too long of a wait and going from room to room what felt hours at the time before finally seeing the doctor. One visit took nearly 3 hours. I like this location much better! Things seem to run smoother, the wait hasn't been bad so far and I like that it's a smaller office. And the last girl that did some tests was so nice which really helps!

Excellent care and most courteous service by Dr Stefan and staff, Dr Stephen and Audrey take great care of patients with patiently giving patients their time.

My cornea specialist sent me to Dr. Lakhani. The schedule was easy to make. I told them my pressure was raised and they fit me in very quickly. The office is very clean and there are a lot of chairs in the waiting room. I was seen within my scheduled time and the exam is very thorough. I took all the tests required before the Dr saw me and all the info the Dr needed was taken by very professional and friendly staff. When I saw Dr. Lakhani, he had all the info he needed to make a decision. He knew almost immediately what to do to get my pressure down and that I should return in 2 weeks. When I returned, we were very happy that my pressure was perfect. He tweaked my meds again and I will return to make sure it's remained good. It's a very pleasant office to visit. The Dr is like a magician, he's so excellent. I thought I may have needed surgery, but he's fixed my pressure with 2 drops. I would recommend him to everyone.

Steve is always polite and courteous. I never feel rushed with the doctors. Every time I've had somewhat of an emergency I've been seeing the same day. Highly recommend this practice.

Very efficient and was taken on time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Dr. Lakhani is very businesslike and professional. Straight to the point.
