I have been going to Dr. Doolen since I was a child, and my parents are both patients as well. We all love Dr. Doolen! He is kind, extremely knowledgable and efficient. He takes time to explain his exam findings and expert recommendations. Marlene is also fabulous- she is extremely thorough, gives you a ton of options for frames and won't let you leave until you are 100% satisfied! The office is extremely accommodating with appointments, since I now travel from out of state for my visits.

The doctor is OK but do NOT buy glasses here. We bought them a few years ago then swore we would never come back. Then we forgot and went back this year. When our glasses were ready to pick up, my husband had an issue with his. The woman at the desk just tells you everything is "perfect" and does not listen. The doctor fixed the issue with my husband's glasses. After a month or so, we realized that we had paid for anti-glare but we get a lot of glare when the sun is out. I have worn glasses since first grade and am now in my 70's. I've never had this problem before. When I called the office, she said the anti-glare is on them. I told her it's not working. She said I could visit the doctor. I asked what the doctor has to do with this issue. She said he can show me the difference between glare and anti-glare. When I told her he already did that, she said then there's nothing she can do for us.

I have been a longtime patient of Dr. Doolen's and cannot recommend his practice enough. He and Marlene are both so personable, professional and kind. They really care about their patients and provide such personalized service. Their new office is lovely and spacious as well.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Doolen's office that I feel compelled to share. My husband and I decided to visit Dr. Doolen after reading several positive reviews on Google. We scheduled an annual eye exam, and at the end of the appointment, my husband decided to purchase a pair of progressive glasses at his office. The trouble began when the administrative staff recommended a pair of bestseller frames, which were priced at $300. We didn't hesitate to make the purchase, and within just two months of normal wear, the frame inexplicably broke. It's essential to note that we didn't drop or mishandle the frame in any way; it simply couldn't withstand everyday use. We promptly returned to Dr. Doolen's office to address this issue, fully expecting a resolution. However, we were met with an odd and concerning response. They refused to disclose the manufacturer of the frames, stating they were made by a vague-sounding "lab." When we inquired about the manufacturer's contact information, we were informed that we could only communicate through the office and that the manufacturer's details were not available. This lack of transparency and accountability left us perplexed and unsatisfied. We explored other eyewear shops to find similar replacement frames for our recently purchased lenses, which had cost us over $500. To our dismay, the consensus among several eyewear professionals was unanimous - the $300 frames we had purchased were of extremely low quality and likely worth no more than $50. After a couple of months of searching, we returned to Dr. Doolen's office, willing to pay for the replacement cost. However, we were informed that the frames were on back order. Two more months passed, and we saw no sign of the frames being shipped. Frustrated and concerned about the $500 we had already invested, we contacted Dr. Doolen's office to seek clarification and resolution. To our astonishment, Dr. Doolen's solution was to recommend that we buy another complete pair of glasses from his office, with the promise of a 50% discount. Given our previous experience with low-quality, no-name frames and the overall lack of accountability, we found this response to be deeply unsatisfactory and unacceptable. In summary, our experience with Dr. Doolen's office has been marked by low-quality products, unexplained reluctance to reveal the source of these products, and a lack of responsibility for a $500 investment (after insurance coverage) We strongly urge prospective visitors to consider other options for their eyewear needs. This is not a place you would want to trust with your eye health or your hard-earned money, and we were left profoundly disappointed with the office's credibility and commitment to customer satisfaction.

My husband and I have been going to the office of Dr. Bradley Doolen for a number of years. Every time we go, it is always been an absolute pleasure. Everyone is attentive and friendly. The office is always clean and comfortable. Dr. Doolen is the best! He takes the time to talk to us about changes or concerns in our vision. He is very detailed in his exams. He examines our eye health so we can continue to have good eyesight. His recommendations for keeping our eye health are always appreciated. Marlene knows her stuff! As an Optician her knowledge and suggestions are exactly what we need. She chooses frames she for us to try and they are always perfect. Marlene makes every effort to make sure we are pleased with the frames and fit of the glasses. Thank you, Dr. Doolen and staff. You are the BEST!!

I cannot say enough about Dr Doolen and his staff. My eyes and prescription can be tricky and particular, and Dr Doolen does everything he can to get my glasses and contacts perfect each and every year. And his staff, the ladies are knowledgeable, super friendly and make going into the office a great experience every time. My family highly recommends this office to everyone!

I have seen Dr. Doolen for about 2 decades! Dr. Doolen is beyond professional and ensures that you can see well in both contacts and glasses. I have a very strong prescription and Dr. Doolen takes the time to explain my prescription and vision needs. Marlene Marino is patient and kind and takes the time to show you as many frames as you would like to make sure you feel comfortable and confident. She does an excellent job listening to your needs and showing you frames that fit your expectations. When I moved out of state and had less than stellar experiences, I made a point to come back to Dr. Doolen and Marlene Marino as they provide the best and most effective services for my eyes. Their friendliness and thoroughness add to an all around positive experience and one that I am grateful for each day when I have glasses and contacts that go beyond my expectations in comfort and vision.

Great family practice! My family and I have been patients of Dr Doolen for many years. During my most recent visit the staff was more than welcoming, explained charges and insurance options and answered my questions happily. I also had a change in my insurance and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The optician Marlene is a sweetheart, fun, transparent and takes the time to explain all of the costs/details. Dr Doolen is a professional and addressed my eye care needs quickly and efficiently. The front desk associate Tasha was also lovely and helpful.
