Took my prescription to the Union, New Jersey Walmart Vision and Glasses location for the first time and I was very happy with my decision. I've used Target, Vison Work, Associates in Eyecare and Lense Crafter and I got to say as of today this Walmart was the best and I will be returning. The three associates that took care of me when I went to order them and then a few days later when I went to pick them up were all professional and very pleasant to work with. If my experience ever changes with this location, I will update this review but as of right now it's the best I've had so far and also both of my two pairs came in within a week.

Edwin helped me today adjust my glasses and check on my warranty. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was also concerned with patient privacy as he turned over paperwork for other patients as we walked up.
Always very professional experience at this Walmart optical.
Great price and selection. Both Juan and Martin have been wonderful and helped me to get the best deal with my insurance plan.

Customer service in vision center is subpar. Seems like associates have no time to attend to customers. Most have serious attitude problems. They act as if they're doing you a favor by servicing you. You're better off going somewhere else.

Usually great service but a guy told me to wait 5 minutes and I ended up waiting a hour fifteen I just left an came a different day. When I did come the next time everything was fast I also called after the snowstorm to ask if my glasses will be ready in time considering the weather a lady picked up and told me that they would come a week later but then I got a call from the same guy that help me when I came in the second time (I'm not sure if his name)and he told me my glasses are ready the next day after I called her. Luckily I gave her my updated number so they were able to contact me.Seems like the staff is not on the same page with the newer hires.

Asian guy kept stirring at my son and I as if we were going to steal a glasses. I ordered my sons glasses and it took a month to be done when they told me 2 weeks. I went there twice to check on the glasses and I was told one story to another. I had to go there the third time to pick it up. No one called me about the delay and they were unapologetic. Just don't go there. They are terrible

It was difficult to make an apt. Unfortunately my daughter an I had the FLU so I had to work the day of the apt. I asked if I can come in later, the latest was 30min. So I rushed from work, nearly got into 3 accidents, to get there exactly at 1:30, to not be helped. By the time I was noticed it was 1:40. Then the DR came in asked who was here first, I said myself, and noted my apt time. He said I was late, which I requested a preferred time from one of the technicians, and I was told 30 min, and made it there by that time. He told me he had to take the later apt since I was late. I explained to him what happened and how I was still here before that next apt. & the customer, he still refused to see me until after her apt, which I could have been at work, or not trying to kill myself to get there at a certain time. Fine. The DR finally saw me but nixed all of my questions and symptoms. They didn't even give me a glaucoma test, and I told him about 3 times the lens he was showing me weren't clear. I hope when I pick my glasses up, they're a match. By the looks of the reviews I'll probably be getting my refund and taking my prescription else where!

Excellent place to go for emergent care or get a new pair of glasses or contacts. Dr. Kravitz was about as personable and professional as can be even though I hadn't visited in ages. All the technicians and staff are equally great, helpful and attentive at all times. I got an eye exam, and all the help and suggestions I could need at a great, fair price. Also picked out a new frame and lenses and felt welcome to stay as long as I needed.

Dislike how they do not carry any astigmatism contact lenses. Needs to be ordered. Eye exam and everything else was great but when needing a last minute pair of contacts or box, I have to place an order with them.
