I was NOT a patient at Verona Eye Care Center when I was in search of a local optometrist to help me with a contact lens related urgent issue! I called Verona Eye Care Center on a Friday morning at 9am and explained my situation. Even though I was not their patient, the person who answered the phone was not only a good listener but assured me that one of the doctors would be able to see me the same day. I saw Dr Shrayman and she was kind, gentle, thorough and answered all of my questions and allayed all of my concerns. She even addressed another eyelid/lash related issue that I have been dealing with which I did not bring to her attention and was not the reason for this emergency appointment. At checkout, I decided to make an appointment for a complete eye exam with Dr Shrayman! The office staff that helped me from my first phone call, to the check in and then check out process were all friendly and efficient! I highly recommend this practice!

The ease of appointment and contact lens ordering is unparalleled.
The reason I feel compelled to write anything negative has to do with certain drops that were used during a routine eye exam. They turned my eyes yellow (I did not realize this until I went to put my contacts back in) and caused my eyelash extensions to clump up and fall out. I specifically asked this question and the optometrist assured me the yellowness would be gone within an hour (it was not, it took two days of eyewash and water) and completely removed my extensions (that are extremely durable). I caution any new patients to avoid this "innocuous" process.
