We are so incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Montenare for our seven-year-old daughter's vision therapy. From the very first appointment, he was patient, kind, and made her feel comfortable and seen. He took the time to explain every step of the process in a way that both my daughter and I could understand, and never once made us feel rushed. What truly stood out was how *thorough* he was--he left no stone unturned in evaluating her needs and building a therapy plan just for her. It's clear he genuinely cares about his patients and their progress. My daughter actually looks forward to her sessions, which says everything about the safe, supportive environment he creates. The entire office staff deserves a huge shoutout as well! Every single person we've interacted with has been warm, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Scheduling is easy peasy, and they go above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. It's rare to find a team this organized and caring. We can already see the difference Dr. Montenare's care is making, and we can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you for everything you've done for our family!

Dr. Montenare is an incredible doctor, amongst the best of which I have met. I brought my 8 year old son to him for evaluation. Dr. Montenare was extremely thorough, while keeping my son engaged and entertained, and we even had a few laughs! The doctor really cares about what he does, and has a large variety of modern equipment. The office is very clean and fresh. There was no wait, and everyone in the office from the receptionist to the nurse, and of course the doctor, were very friendly and attentive. After our visit, we received a comprehensive report in the mail. I would highly recommend Montenare Eye Care to anyone with eye care needs, especially if you need a specialist with in depth knowledge of opthalmology.

Dr. Montenare has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've visited. He's attentive, thorough, and has no problem explaining everything in detail for those curious about each step of the procedure/exam. The front office staff were very pleasant to deal with as well. I'll be recommending him to all my family and friends who need to have an eye exam in the future.

Dr. Mike is fantastic! My wife and children have been patients here for years. His office is always accommodating, even in emergencies. Dr. Mike is highly professional, taking the time to provide thorough explanations about our visits and any concerns. We live nearly thirty minutes away, but the exceptional service and care make the drive well worth it.

I took my son to see Dr Montenare in April 2022. Due to serious vision issues, we've seen countless eye specialists over the years, both in the US and in Europe. I was impressed with Dr Montenare's professionalism, thoroughness and sincerity. His office is smoothly and efficiently run and a pleasure to communicate with. Moreover, unlike other vision therapy practices we've been to before, a very detailed report with clear scientific assessments was mailed to us less than a week after our visit. Dr Montenare is a true expert in his field. He is also a really nice person, my son privately whispered to me that he liked him mid-visit, and I could see that the doctor was great with kids, making the assessment fun and relaxed. I plan to keep following up with Dr Montenare as long as my son needs it and will recommend him to people based on our great experience.

I have been going to various eye doctors and no matter what each one said I was still seeing blurry, but Dr. Montenare was able to tell me the problem and explain it to me in a way I was able to understand. 10/10 recommend visiting this office!

Dr. Montenare was so friendly and thorough. He explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. It's very apparent that Dr. Mike cares about his patients and is passionate about his work. The waiting room and office in general is lovely too! I highly recommend Montenare Eye Care!
