I needed a BVD exam, and they were super helpful. They rushed the preliminary exam a bit, IMO, but Dr. Kniffen was attentive, professional, and provided options if my prescription didn't work. And the staff was very accommodating to my BVD anxiety. Definitely a better experience than other optometrists I've seen.
Update: my glasses haven't arrived. I was told between 1-2 weeks. Eye strain causes anxiety, and I'm feeling it. They need to provide next day or two day shipping. I paid out of pocket and I'm feeling screwed. Not happy!

Not happy about this new deposit they are asking for when you make your appt. $45 I was told it started 1/1/26 and they are making the new machine mandatory $39 which you could opt out of prior, and the deposit goes towards that and then my $5 co pay. I'm not sure this s even legal so I will be looking into this with my insurance and not continuing my business here.

I was very happy with the Optometrist. This is the only Optometrist I have used for 20+ years. What I wasn't happy about was the office personnel. Prior to the visit I gave my insurance to them. They told me fine, I would have to pay up front and then be reimbursed, also they would file the claim for me. After the appointment, I was told they do not accept my insurance, and I personally could try to be reimbursed by filing myself for out of network coverage. I contacted my insurance only to find out I am not covered. According to my insurance, they should have told me prior to the appointment that they did not take this. I expected better from Casey Optical.
