Dr Courtney Chavez OD

My experience with Dr Courtney has been great. Trying to get into schedule an appointment not so good. I have been calling since the end of 2025 to try and get my daughter scheduled for an eye exam. I leave numerous messages and no one calls me back. I have an appointment scheduled for next Friday that I am trying to cancel and I can't get through to anyone. I am leaving numerous messages letting them know that I need to cancel that appointment. I have decided this is ridiculous and I will not be using this eye doctor any longer. She is great and very professional. I don't understand what the problem is and why it's so hard to get in touch with anyone in that office.

We've been seeing Dr. Chavez for our eyes for 5 years. She is always pleasant, quick, and accurate. Very easy to work with if there is an issue with new prescription. I recommend her highly!

10/22/21: Dr Chavez immediately said, "It's been just a little over 2 years since I last you. How are you?" That was special because I didn't even remember that she did my last eye exam Excellent, professional, inexpensive and the only Optometrist I'll see in this town. You'll have a bit of a wait for an appointment but it's worth it.

Dr . Chavez is a great doctor. Her office staff are rude and unhelpful. I gave them a second chance after being unprofessional with my daughter. They lectured me on the phone about how I was supposed to make a follow-up with Dr.Chavez by calling instead of making it online. I told them I did not know that and the receptionist continued to lecture me stating Dr.Chavez had told me at my visit, even though that was not discussed. I canceled my appointment and will be doing my business elsewhere. I am cash paying for my eye clinic visits.

Dr. Chavez is a skilled and knowledgeable doctor, but unfortunately, her front desk staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. The contact lens fitting process has been frustrating--it's been over two months, and I'm still waiting. It seems the main draw of this office is its convenient location next to Costco.

Office staff and Dr. Chavez were great. Loved the appt reminders, Service was friendly plus my eye exam was thorough and a great price. Thank You.

I had my eye exam with Dr. Chavez on May 30th for the first time and the experience was fantastic. I've been going to LensCrafters for the last several years but after seeing how booked they were, I did research on who took my vision insurance and Dr. Chavez popped up. I'm already a Costco member so I figured why not and she didn't disappoint. The girl at the front desk was super nice and super friendly and explained the paperwork clearly. I will definitely be returning for future exams.

Called before appt to ask if they except my insurance they said yes so I book the appt 8 weeks pass I show up to appt she lied they don't take me insurance and then tried to get me to accept the terms to pay out of pocket
