We have had a great experience with Eyes of NM! When my daughter failed her eye exam in preschool, I needed an office that specialized in pediatric issues. Dr. Martinez and her team were able to diagnose her myopia and get her enrolled in the Treehouse program quickly. Dr. Martinez is incredibly knowledgeable and provides us the best care through evidence-based practice. We feel confident in her plan of care and relieved to know our girl is in good hands!
Jennifer, Ray and the front office staff are wonderful to work with. They all go out of their way to make my daughter feel excited about her visits, something most adults dread. We are truly grateful to have found such a wonderful office!
I had such a great experience at Eyes of New Mexico! From the second I walked in, Jenny at the front made me feel so welcome she was kind, patient, and super helpful with everything I needed. Ray, who helped with my eye problem, was amazing. He made me feel completely comfortable and really took the time to explain what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. You can tell they all genuinely care about helping people and take pride in what they do. Both Jenny and Ray went above and beyond and that kind of care honestly makes all the difference. I left feeling taken care of and really grateful. Highly recommend Eyes of New Mexico and their awesome team!
I had a pleasant, warm welcoming experience from when I walked in until I left. Everyone (staff) I encountered was amazing and friendly and polite. Each staff member explained what they had to do from r me and answered all of my questions. That facility was neat and clean and gave me a comfortable feeling. Great place!
I've been going to Eyes of New Mexico Family Optometry for about 3 years now, and they are truly the best in Albuquerque. My daughter and I have always had great experiences here.
This past year I tried a different place, Preal Vision, because my husband raved about them. He has a small prescription, while mine is much more serious, and unfortunately they did not do me justice. I ended up with "fish bowl" glasses and wasn't given the information I needed to make the best decision when purchasing my lenses.
I came back to Eyes of New Mexico, and immediately they could tell I was uncomfortable. They knew exactly why just by looking at my glasses. Their knowledge is unmatched, and they always keep your best interest in mind. They'll give you the honest truth--even when it's hard--because they want what is truly best for you in the long run.
I'm so glad to be back. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an optometrist who genuinely cares and knows what they're doing.
Dr. Martinez is very diligent and caring. She listens to concerns and gives various options for solutions. I have seen her for years and will continue to trust her for my eye care needs. Her staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended!
I honestly can't say enough good things about Eyes of New Mexico and Tiffany! I went into my appointment a little skeptical - Tiffany mentioned she could help with my nervous system issues by recommending a different prescription than I was used to. I had no idea what that meant, but I decided to stay open-minded... and I'm so glad I did, because she completely changed my life.
The eye exam was super thorough - they did way more tests than any other optometrist I've seen. Tiffany ended up diagnosing me with tunnel vision (which I didn't even know was a real thing!). She explained everything so clearly and recommended prism glasses to help. The second she tested them in-office, I was stunned - I could see the difference instantly.
When my new glasses came in, I was honestly shocked at how much better everything looked and felt. It, no joke, felt like my eyes were finally open and like I was seeing the entire world differently. Even physically, I could feel my retinas adjust and open up. I finally understand why I never liked wearing my old prescription glasses - they always strained my eyes or gave me headaches. Now, with my new prism lenses, I love wearing them and rarely take them off.
What's wild is that I've noticed my nervous system feels calmer, my thoughts are clearer, and I feel more grounded overall. Tiffany explained how improving my visual pathways could support my PTSD healing and neuropathway growth over time - which completely blew my mind.
If you're looking for a vision specialist in Albuquerque who truly cares, takes time to listen, and looks at the whole picture of your health, Tiffany at Eyes of New Mexico is the one. I'm forever grateful for how much this experience has improved my daily life.
My husband and I were new patients, from the moment we walked in check in staff was friendly and professional. Every step of our exam was explained to us, the Dr was great with exceptional bed side manner explaining and reviewing our exams in detail, the young lady who helped with our glasses was super friendly and helpful. This seemed like a happy place with lots of smiles which we appreciated. Thank you!
This doctor changed the game for me. I used to have a high prescription (-10). I had lasik, and it helped a ton. But what has really made such a huge difference is the prism lenses I'm using now. It's like suddenly I can actually see, everything is clearer, it's easier to focus on things. Like this whole time there was a layer of eye health never addressed.
I would recommend eyes of NM to anyone and everyone with glasses.
