Orbit Eyecare & Optical - North Valley

I've been going to Orbit several years now and I love this place. The staff are genuine and friendly. The doctors are always so helpful. If you want a friendly, honest place with good service and not the fluff, this place is it. They are accurate and fast unlike other places around town.

Fab & Fair!! This experience at North Valley Orbit was fantastic! From tech to exam and pricing for new glasses, everything was smooth and easy. My insurance covered 70% After unpleasant visits to various ophthalmologists whose only answer was surgery, Dr. Rumbach said my eye health was good enough (at 70) for a new prescription! No one else, not even Stanton, would give me one. I'm THRILLED. Shout out to optician Bianca the "calculator", Tlisa the Manager, technician Jamie and sweet Miranda at the desk. Huge thanks to the entire crew. I will follow-up once I have my new pair... ahhhh such relief for a new year!!

Everything is made so simple. I booked my appointment online, got text confirmations and reminders for the appointment, and filled out needed forms online. At the appointment, the staff was friendly and kind. Dr. Jarrell is great at explaining things and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

This place is super slow and not good at communicating with customer. Got something dropped on my eyes during the appointment, wasn't told about its effect. Till I requested lenses replacement and was asked to sign paper. I told her I couldn't see anything , so I couldn't sign, then she told me it's normal because of the dilution. I signed anyway. I asked how long and she said 45 minutes. Then I had to ask again if my glass with lenses replacement would take 2 weeks, she answered yes. Well, no one in this office seemed to be very delighted to work with customers. I left and my eyes couldn't clear till afternoon. If I knew it, I would have asked to be off from work. It has been two weeks but no update on my sunglasses, called twice and left voice messages, no one answer, email, no answer. It took maximum 10 days for all places I went previously to have both glasses ready. Only one glass with this place for two weeks but heard nothing. I chose this place after moving to new address and it's nearby, but no good experience. They were not rude, thanks fully, but people working there didn't seem to enjoy their job, so their customer service is poor. My first time with them but I won't be back next year. Hopefully if you see this review, call me about my sunglasses

I've gotten glasses here for several years. They're always pleasant and professiional. My usual Dr retired, so I decided to try Orbit's dctor. My appointment was on time. Karen was lovely, took me to prep where she enered all my info into the computer and answered my questions. Dr Jarrell came in promptly, was cordial, then the usual exam, dilation, wait 20 minutes,more testing, new script. I'm done! I also found a new frame i really like, so ordered my glasses with another lovely lady whose name escapes me. (Sorry, I'm old) She answered some questions very clearly. Then I was really done. Just waiting for my new glasses in 2 - 3 weeks. Very satisfied. Much faster than my doctors office.
