I've been coming here for years, I've always had a Good service but today was awesome service by Monica. She went out of her way to make sure I was able to have some type of contacts while waiting for my new pair. Great customer service and definitely shows as she really cares. Thank you again. We need more people like you.
I had an amazing experience today. Jacob was quick with my daughter's glasses and let me know they were covered under warranty! Amazing service at this location as always!
ABSOLUTE SCAM. Not only do they intentionally RIP PEOPLE OFF and completely over charge, they add whatever they want and decide you need it. They will argue and get pissed when you bring up prices that are clearly advertised all over the store and in all of the 300 emails i receive from them daily. Still, they refuse to take no for an answer. The 1st time i took my daughter and was charged $320.??...I almost peed my pants.. The guy wasn't expecting me to catch all of the upsales or what not. I ended up walking out of there with 1 pair of $39 glasses and still spending $118. Now get this...The BOGO with free exam...HAAA.. $450 later...Im stuck with 2 pair of glasses (1 broke) that i cant wear when i drive, cant see anything clearly out of them and i see better without them. My hubby...OVER $500...CRAP. has to take them off to read, eyes can focus on anything, and 1 pair fell off and shattered. I called multiple times and was told basically too bad. I should have never paid if i wasn't happy. They told to go back to the store and discuss it with them. The same lady that doesn't even hear anything because shes is already set on screwing you. great idea. Check receipt.... exam fees were Never FREE, NOTHING was BOGO, and charged for a bunch of stuff that 1, didn't ask for.... 2. charged for things that is included with every pair of glasses in the first place.I can go on and on with the unbelievable run around i got for so long....but its clear that that place is a joke. SCAM SCAM. AND... i have no way of getting my kiddos prescription so i can buy her new glasses that will not break within a week. No record of anything on my account. So the $1200.00 we have spent...for absolutely nothing and no record of it anywhere. NEVER AGAIN.
Very poor customer service. My wife and I took the time to schedule our exams online and complete the medical questionare. Upon arrival we were told that they would be right with us and then proceeded to ignore us and help two other customers who came in after us for exams. We have been to this location before and the customer service was good . That appears to have changed. We will take our business elsewhere.
How was your internal review? Did it escalate? Have the button pusher and the phone answerer received any additional training? Retail, customer service, HIPPA, or maybe just how to be kind and non judgemental?
Review for Stanton West: The ppl were nice enough but apparently they couldn't find my left eye? I promise, it's next to my right eye. The employees told me it was because of my meds but I don't understand how my meds could have made someone incompetent at their job. I was terribly worried that I might have misplaced my left eye so I went to Optic across the street and using the same kind of machine, they found my eye! Idk. Maybe some extra training for button pushing? And a brush up course on HIPAA!
Do not go to State Optical if you want a real eye exam. I scheduled an exam expecting to see an eye doctor, but there was no doctor on site--only technicians. The techs made basic mistakes (including recording the wrong dominant eye) and gave me a completely incorrect prescription that had to be fixed later. They claim a doctor signs off remotely, but you never actually see one.
They also accept very limited insurance and push you to buy glasses or contacts from them just to get a "discount" on the exam, which makes no sense if you already have coverage. After the exam, I was forced to wait again for a high-pressure sales pitch, even though they didn't have the trial contacts they promised.
What should have been a 30-45 minute visit turned into over 21/2 hours of waiting, errors, and upselling. By far the worst eye care experience I've ever had. If you want an actual doctor to examine your eyes, stay away.
I recently visited Stenton Optical, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The customer service was quite poor. We got an email and text that the glasses were ready and we went and they werent... I went back to the store several hours later to get them. They were ready and we were not notified as promised. I didn't check the glasses as they were for someone else, but they sent me home with the wrong pair of glasses, and to make matters worse, the eye exam took over two hours. I expected a much smoother and more efficient process. Overall, I was really let down by the service. There was no apologies ever. I will not be returning.
I had a very disappointing experience at Stanton Optical. From the moment I walked in, the employees seemed completely unprofessional. Most of them were on their phones instead of helping customers, and it felt like we were interrupting their personal time just by being there.
To make matters worse, one of the employees was loudly talking about a cheating scandal and other inappropriate personal topics--well within earshot of customers. It was extremely uncomfortable and definitely not something anyone should have to listen to while trying to get glasses.
Between the unprofessional behavior, inappropriate conversations, and poor customer service, this was easily one of the worst optical experiences I've had. I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I wouldn't even feel comfortable going to another location cause of this interaction.
