This manger threw me out for no reason after asking if I would be out by a certain time because I had to get my daughter . I said under my breath I wouldn't be back to this location he then started making a huge scene in the store after him and his employees had already messed up the beginning part of my eye exam made me go back outside and wait even longer because they messed up . He said he was going to call the cops on me because I was disrupting service. I will be reaching out to a lawyer about this and posting the video I have on EVERY social media this man was so RUDE and I didn't NOTHING WRONG

Today my son & I both had exams done. From the minute of checking in and the checkout process, it was absolutely a pleasant visit. Aerial was absolutely awesome , showing excellent customer service. She knows her products and was able to help us find the perfect pair of glasses! She the best! Go see Aerial! She'll take care of you!

deceptive pricing strategies and poor customer service. I had cancelled my first exam due to pricing concerns and then was called to return. I rescheduled. The floor of the main area was dirty and instead of tending to the small but noticeable trash, several sales agents were talking with one another and additionally not assisting the shoppers present (help choosing frame type, shape, material, etc.) I was not seen for my 3:15 appt until approximately 3:45 until eventually the agent who I kept asking how long it would be (who had been on the sales floor talking and sitting with another employee) called me back to conduct the exam. Why did I have to wait for 30 minutes while the person who ended up conducting my exam was simply talking with a co-worker? I got done with my exam and was told $279 for 1 pair of glasses. I declined and feel like I wasted my time especially after being called and receiving emails and numerous text messages to return for a great deal. I needed progressives. No major astigmatism or vision problems - just tired of wearing readers. I was prepared to pay as much as $150 and maybe even $200, but (having been an optical sales manager previously myself) I realize that even that is more than the true cost of frame, lens and production. I wasted my time and although I was not charged for the exam, I would rather have paid for fair pricing, attentive sales people and a clean environment.

Didn't want to get glasses in my town bc they would've been more expensive (for less too) so I drove to Abq for new prescriptions recommended by my mother in law. Soooo many options for frames! It felt like an experience and I had fun picking out my frames and found the exact one I had envisioned. I paid 270 for the eye exam (both for glasses and contacts) 3 months of contacts, Polycarbonate lenses,and got the frames covered by my insurance. If I had not gone here, I would've paid more for just an eye exam and one pair of glasses (without any extra modifications mind you) so this was a worthwhile investment. I'm so excited to get my new frames and experience contacts for the first time !! Highly recommend Ariel as they were very kind and extremely helpful with every step in getting my frames and contacts, as well as showing me how to put on contacts and made sure I knew how to do I could get used to taking off and putting on. 10/10 would recommend!!

After a very poor experience at the Atrisco location, I almost gave up on Stanton Optical entirely. But I decided to take the drive to the Uptown location--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. The staff are extremely professional, attentive, and thorough. Brian, in particular, was absolutely amazing--helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They corrected everything that the Atrisco location had messed up, and I left completely satisfied with my glasses. I'm very thankful for the professionalism and care at the Uptown location. Highly recommend!

Ariel and the lab tech Rachel were extremely helpful even tho my sons glasses were not from Stanton optical they helped me. I truly impressed with the outstanding customer service that they had shows the passion and commitment they have to help anyone who comes thru the doors. I have had an outstanding experience Coming to Stanton Optical for my own glasses and hope everyone else experiences the same.

Ariel has been a great help today. I was able to walk in and she was able to help get my glasses fixed in less than 15 mins!! Ill definitely be coming back:)

I don't normally leave Google reviews but I had a truly terrible experience here from start to finish and I want to warn anyone thinking about coming here to go somewhere else. This place is extremely unorganized. If I described all of the things that were not good about my experience here, this would be 3 pages long. So here are the highlights: My eye exam was super confusing and frustrating. I was passed from person to person during my eye exam and I had to remind 3 different employees that I was getting both an eyeglass examjj and a contact exam because they kept saying "so you are just here for an eyeglass exam." One employee mixed my file up with another persons and I don't even know if I got the right prescription. I was told my trial contacts would be ready by Feb 19 but a few days went by and I didn't receive any communication letting me know they were ready so I called. They said they had already been picked up ( I hadn't picked them up). I decided to just go in and see if I could get them. The employee was super confused but finally found them. I told her it was my fist time getting contacts and she said there was no one available to help me with trying them on and didn't offer to schedule another time for me to come in. I spent a lot of money and time here and because there were so many mix ups and so much confusion I don't even trust that my prescription is right. Now I need to go to a more reputable Optometrist. Save yourself that hassle and go somewhere else to begin with.
