I love Visionworks because they truly meet all my needs. I'm especially thankful to Lizzy for taking the time and making the effort to thoroughly review my insurance--her hard work, compassion, and understanding made such a difference. She went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate it. And Dr. Marvel is simply the best!

Had no problems getting my new glasses ordered. When arrived all associates were busy. It only took about 10 minutes and a associate helped me find my new frames and got me in and out in less than 45 minutes. Great service and thats why I keep going back to this location. Always friendly and always helpful

I would like to start out that I like the doctor, however I had made an appointment over 2 weeks ago as I was having some problems with my eyes. I have a very strong prescription and after I had tried to take care of it myself made the appointment. I have called this place multiple times in the weeks leading up to my appointment to see if I could possible be seen any earlier and that was a no go. I was given instructions to try over the counter eye drops till my appointment. Okay, I did this but was still worried but was going to wait for my appointment. The day finally arrived and I went to the doctor to be greeted by the secretary, Anna, who I would like to reference is not the doctor. She asked me what was my problem and I told them my eyes she asked was it contacts or glasses? I said my eyes they're red they're hurting and I would like to see the doctor for these reasons. She then proceeded to tell me that she and the doctor had had a lengthy discussion and I didn't need to be seen today beg your pardon yes I will be. Did the doctor and myself have a lengthy discussion about what was going on with my eyes. NO. I stated that there's something wrong with my eyes and I need to see the doctor. I did not make an appointment to see the secretary. I would like to add again. Then she proceeded to tell me that it would be out of pocket about $100 or more. I said fine. Here's my card I will be seeing the doctor. I have waited for a couple weeks. I do have insurance and will be also calling my insurance to see exactly what is being paid for. I am very annoyed and I am very irritated at this point and I don't feel that I was treated very well at the beginning of the appointment that they were trying to tell me I didn't need to be seen as I Obviously, made the appointment to be seen for a reason so needless to say the doctor saw me and she said that I had dry eyes and she was very thorough. I'm not sure if that's correct, but I will follow her instructions and utilize the steroid drops. She gave me for a week. Which I very much appreciated. I would like to say that when someone makes an appointment and they repeatedly called for two weeks trying to be seen and give all of the information about my situation. I felt very misinformed not important in my situation as I was being brushed off. I understand that this facility does not utilize medical insurance. I've learned that now. Clearly, I had an issue and I needed to see a doctor and again I would like to emphasize that I did not appreciate the fact that somebody wouldn't even see me before they could tell me if I needed to be seen for something or not. I did make the appointment for a reason not just to waste peoples times, including my own. I would like to add I do have eye insurance which you take also included in my eye insurance with a copay red eyes, hurting eyes, pink eye etc is covered. I connected with my insurance. So I am curious as to why this was not offered to me from your office. It is not the medical insurance it is the eye insurance you accept to give me an exams for contacts or glasses.i would like a call from your office to explain.

Kevin is a phenomenal employee. He really knows his stuff. He re-fitted a pair of glasses I bought at a competitor, and had me in and out of there in twenty minutes with a new pair of glasses ordered from Visionworks.

it is so refreshing to have a Specialist stay in one place of business for almost a decade! it was wonderful meeting my eye Dr 7 yrs ago in Las Cruces during and trusting a virtual appt for the first time and also during the Pandemic years. A bonus was when Dr Marvel moved from Oklahoma to Albuquerque! I have a specialist that treats TMJ here at Digital Dentistry ( and also a dentist) off of Osuna that I have had to travel for over 23+ yrs since 2002. SO, I also would make my eye appts here at the same time . We finally got to move out of Las Cruces and we live outside of Albuquerque!! TMJ can affect the vision and Dr. Marvel is so patient and non judgemental.

For eye appointment GREAT! To pay bill: they take you into the eye glasses place/other half of building and hand you off to some one else. Since I'm diabetic, they took pictures of the back of my eyes and eye exam area she told me it be $15.00 extra for this service. But no! Eye glasses area said bill was 89.00!!!! Not $35.00 for my co-pay. I asked him to explain bill, he tried once. I asked to see it on paper to explain it HE SAID NO, NOT TILL I PAID. I left $ on counter and left
