Visualize Optometry

Fiance walked in at 11:00am and was told they were accepting their last walk in client aside from that, they only accept the first 3 walk ins total for one day. They advise walk ins would be seen in between appointments. After about an hour of waiting, checked in with front desk for an estimated wait time and was told I could not be given a timeframe. Staff prioritize chit-chat and snack breaks in between clients - not taking clients back to be seen. Several people with appointments had priority, which is reasonable... After nearly 4 HOURS of waiting was FINALLY taken to the back to the by technician to get his eyes reviewed. They stated he was their last patient aside from that clinic hours close at 3:00pm (as in last client to be seen is no later than 3:00pm). A woman came in at 3:30ish to request a walk in visit and was refused/asked to come back at a later date and was provided referrals to another clinic. Store closing hours state 5pm. As for the ophthalmologist she was great came in and within 10minutes, performed a sports exam for boxing. Exam was conducted throughly, with dilation, after about 15-20 min was reexamined. Was told insurance was not accepted and it would be a cash fee of 102.49, was charged extra for provided required documentation which came to a total of 150.00*.

Dr. Fritz saved my life by seeing my inter--cranial hypertension in September of 2024 when my previous drs didn't pay mind. As of today the pressure in my head is normal now. Will definitely be returning for my yearly eye exam. The only negative is sometimes the front desk are not very communicative to patients and to eachother. But otherwise I'm very thankful. Im a whole year late to posting this but still needs to be said.

Came February 21 at 3 PM. They were closed their hours say 5 PM !!!!Wasted time and gas for nothing very unprofessional!! Now I know why they have a three star review

Very late review, I'm sorry. Stopped by in May 2024. Driver here looking for eye relief from an eye infection. They were kind of my last option, called and was told they only took a limited amount of walk ins daily but if I got there within a bit they'd take me. Very appreciative here for being helped out that day, had to keep rolling as I was only passing by and they were able to help me out.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Making an appointment is frustrating, they gave me the wrong time repeatedly and I had to correct them to the time I'd agreed to but they were very sure to remind me I'd owe them $50 if I needed to change my appointment. I'm sorry? I pay a fee to change an appointment for an eye exam, which is literally walk-in many places? I went here this year because they already had my paperwork and insurance, but next year I will go elsewhere. The doctor/exam was fine but they kept me waiting so long I had to change my work schedule... so much for my "appointment" ... go elsewhere until this place gets a clue.

I have been going to Visualize Optometry and being taken care of by Dr. Rohrkaste for over a decade and without exception have had excellent experiences every single time. He's extremely knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. I've always been able to get an appointment within the week and I don't believe that I've ever waited more than ten minutes to be seen. Also, for such a thorough state-of-the-art exam, the price is very reasonable. His support staff has always been friendly and efficient. I have read a few reviews where people complain about the wait time being too long. Well ... make an appointment! Don't just show up and then complain about having to wait.

Do not take my insurance. Was told I owed a bill from 2022..interesting how they did not reach out until I come in 2025. Was told they did. Most of front desk staff are not friendly...like patients are a bother to them. Do not recommend.
